I submitted my tax statements and electricity bills. I also submitted the i-94 with dates (though it cam back initially). All this worked good.

"They are asking me to provide a proof that i have been lawfully admitted and stayed in the US for more than 1 year. I just got done with my master's degree and I have been in the US for more than 2 years. What kind of proof do you think that would be? I would appreciate any help."
All of the following should do it:
- A copy of your passport with your US visa stamped on it indicating the allowed length of the visa
- Passport page which shows your entry into the US
- Copy of F1
- A letter from your school showing you were enrolled during that period.

Won't this query replied in other thread? You can submit electricity bills / tax statement and again your i-94 with dates highlighting clearly.

My application was returned back and among the explanation letters they sent: those two things were checked:
1-your submission indicates you do not meet the criteria set out in regulation 11 of the immigration and refugee protection regulations to have your application processed in this office. (See Appendix C)
2-Your submission does not meet the definition of an acceptable application as set out in Regulation 10 of the immigration and refugee protection regulations. (See Appendix D)
I have no idea what are those regulations and Appendixes. Please let me know what do you think ASAP.
