Does anyone know what is the procedure if you change your home address while your application is in process?

You can do it by logging into online application status. You can also write them with your file number. I recommend the first one.

The online address update is NOT recommended if your application is outside of Canada [any visa office outside of Canada - even if you are currently in Canada] as the address is not downloaded from the site to the local offices. You would have received a form for address change as part of you AOR or IA - you should use that.

You can just send an e-mail to consulate ID. This is the fastest (and probably free) way and I have used it :)
