Pre-paid envelops are not requested in the application guide or checklist. Why would you send it then?

No need for pre-paid envelope, it's not on the buffalo check list.

Guys, the prepaid envelope is needed for them to return your passports in a fast and safe way(in order for you to track them). If you did not include a prepaid express mail envelope with your passports, do not worry about it, because they will return them via USPS regular mail. Good luck!

Dude, I thought we are talking about sending the pre-paid envelop with the initial application, not when they request you to send the passport.

yes, anybody has an idea if its needed or not with initial application. On buffalo consulate website, Under mailing instructions it says to send pre-paid envelope.

I am pretty sure that you don't need to send one with the initial application.

some ppl do it only with PPR request to speed up the process that's all.

Don't be worried you are good now.
