I'm an Indian national residing in USA. I applied for Canadian immigration under skilled workers category. I have recently relocated to another address in USA. Can someone please explain the process to update address in my application ?

I am in the same boat, i have not recd. the AOR yet but plan to change the current address. Is it advisable to wait for AOR before I change the address or just change it and inform the embassy?

Write/Fax/Email the the processing center with your new address. Incldue your file/case number, full name and DOB in the letter. I believe you can update the address on-line but I'm not sure how that works.

Yes, wait for AOR to be recd. Anyhow you can forward your mails on the new address. Once you have AOR (File #), indicate the same and send e-mail.
If it is taking a lot of time (to receive AOR), I suggest to send the e-mail indicating the following:
1. Your name
2. Your category - Skilled worker
3. Your old address
4. Your new address
Also mention that since there hasnot been any AOR thus no file # is mentioned. You will be glad to know for every successful e-mail recd at consulate, a confirmation will be recd. Just keep it if needed anytime in future.
