if anyone has any thoughts about this issue, i did my medicals on feb 29th 2008.....i didn't hear anything from buffalo so i sent them an email and they responded by saying that they have received my medical results and my case is pending proof of current funds.

Did you submit the details about funds? If yes, then propbably they are verifying. If not, then do submit at the earliest

i submitted a certificate of balance which i obtained from the bank......they received it on tuesday....in addition to that i also sent the RPRF...

Ok...then they will verify the same....just relax. They probably wnna see how old is the account / any sudden increase in money etc.

well i have had this account for 8 years..... the reason why i found it strange was for the simple reason that when they asked me to do the medical no additional documents were requested and my interview was also waived.....

Are you saying you never submitted the account information? If you have submitted it with initial application package, the same can be applicable.
Post medical there is a phase of background checks which is a black hole (no one knows exactly what things are checked). Consulate gives very generic answers to queries mostly.

Have they encashed your RPRF ?
Please give us more information about your time frame IA, medicals and documents sent

May be they missed that paper so check with them ASAP

AOR aug 12 2007, IA Feb 18 2008, medicals done Feb 29 2008 and they reached Ottawa March 4 2008............

My RPRF was cashed last week..... what can i expect next ?

When did they receive the check?
how long it took them to cash from the time they received it?
Check your ecase if it says medicals received they you should expect yout PPR soon

they received the cheque on june 9th and it was cashed on june 13th......ecas still shows in process with no updates...
