Topic: time left on passports when landing as pr's

does anyone know how long u need remaining on a passport when landing in canada as permanent residents?

Doesnt understand what exactly you are trying to ask? However here are some responses based upon my understandings...

1. If you are trying to ask abt your Passport expiry, then you should check with Consulate. Normally a visa should be ending before your passport expiry. There is also a provision to put the same visa on your new passport but PLEASE ENSURE that.

2. Your stamped visa is valid till one year of your medical date. If you recd visa after 8 months of medical then its only valid for 4 months.

Having atleast 6months validity is preferable as with any visa application. But please note that your PR visa expiry date will be the validity of your passport if passport validity is less than medical validity.
