since august 2007 i had filed my application to buffalo in december they sent me a letter with a # B.... i sent my application complete exemple funds letter, background check (FBI), letter from my employer etc...
but i did medical exam received in february 2008 in april 2008 they sent me a letter telling like my file has been transfer to detroit for processing but i m still waiting.
now can somebody help me to understand what going on????
my first language is french but i did the ielts score band 5.5 its that a problem??
i filed for me and my family thats mean husband and 3 kids i would like to know how long its take to be done completely

Don't worry, you are fine. I was in a similar situation. The summer is apparently always a little slower, but things will get done. How did you get your medical done before your IA? (initial assessment) The process is AOR (acknowledgement of receipt), then transfer to local office, then IA and a medical to do. It is odd that you have had a medical before your IA or am I misunderstanding you?
