Topic: Validity period of Confirmation of Permanent Residence

I got my Canadian PR approved in May 2008, landed in Canada in July 2008, applied for PR card and returned back to the US.

As per my understanding, I can land in Canada again by road just with the copy of COPR. But my COPR is valid only till Nov 2009 (same as the expiry date as my passport). Does that mean that i can't use COPR to enter Canada by land after Nov 2009. Do I need a travel document to enter after Nov 2009?

Correct. But I'm sure you will have your PR card by Nov 2008 (u meant Nov 2008, not 2009 I'm assuming).
