I am an indian citizen residing in USA and planning on applying for PR for Canada and was wondering how to obtain a police certificate from india and the fbi clearance here and do i have to send these with the application or later in the process.

Police certificate is easy. Just go to Indian consulate close to you and pay money (around $30).

You have to send it with your application. medical comes later when your application is in process. You will be informed when to go for your medical. I hope that helps.

hi,
for 1)indian pcc download the form and go to nearest consulate and you can get it.u can even send form through mail but is risky as you have to send passport.
2)for usa also go to fbi site download form , fill it and put your finger prints and send it too to fbi office .
just put your finger print properly as shown in video on fbi site.
we did it and got results after 20 days. also when u send application put date on the envelop .
