i recieved a letter on the 17th from the High commission in London asking me to confirm whether or not i still want to continue with my application(federal skills). Did anybody receive this? and wat does it signify? thanks

Hi canadabounds,

I am sorry i have no idea of such a letter from CIC. Its better you communicate with them immediatly, either by fax or e-mail, your intention. Normally you get your reply back within 2 working days in case of e-mail, they dont acknowledge fax.

I think it may be one of the two:
1. you missed a document update letter and after 90 days have elapsed they send you this.
2. They are a bunch of nuts and made a mistake.

CIC said that they will send a letter to some people in the pre-Feb 27 backlog and ask them whether they want to keep their old application or reapply and be considered for the post-Feb 27 fast track.
