We are planning to do landing in October while my wife will be 6 month pregnant. Do you see any issue with that at the Canadian immigration while landing? We are planning to return to USA in 2-3 days. Please suggest. Thanks.

There should be no hassle if you are landing before baby' birth. However since your baby will not be a Canadian citizen, that may be some concern. I suggest to check with consulate in this regard. Looking at the updates - any family change will trigger the entire new application for the family.

If you see the letter with PPR request, this will be more clear. Any family change (prior landing) will trigger the new application for while family. However since you are coming back, this is AGAIN a special case. Your baby will be born in US and not in Canada.

I did my landing back in june 2008 came back to USA after three weeks . My wife is pregnant. What is the procedure to add a new family member those who already have PR cards.

My concern first is, does it has any effect on our landing process at the canadian immigration border post?
I think if the child is born is USA after our landing, we can add the child later when we move permanently.
Please share your thoughts

no worries it will be nice if u complete the landing and after the baby is born you can add or even if u dont add the baby and the baby is born in the US then they dont req PR to travel with you so travelling etc will not be an issue. you can add him/her to your PR at a later date. Now if u try to add it will prolong the entire process and you will have to wait for 1-2 yrs do depends on you. Technically if you are landing now then the baby is also landing without the PR :)

Being pregnant doesn't effect your landing process. If you land then leave Canada and give birth you have to apply to sponsor your child. Remeber only Canadian citizens can apply for sponsorship while living outside Canada.
