Topic: Withdrawn ??
Posted by moeusc (4) 13 Oct 2008
Hi,

I was just checking the CIC on my case and the system threw me a curve ball saying my application is now 'Withdrawn' . Clicking on the details says that "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision". I checked with my lawyer's (Canadavisa.com) and they said they do not have any news from the visa office yet.

What do you think is going ? I did apply for pre-assesment to Alberta but that was totally different than this one.

I appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Mohammad

hi mohammad,
i applied my case from uk so two-three months back the same thing showing on E-CAS on cic website so now last week only officially i got reply from chc london tht my case has been shifted to new delhi, so i suppose its the same with u but if u have applied under familly visa category then it cld be an interveiw but under skilled category if u have applied then your case has been transfered to another visa post...by the way where u applied from and where you workin at present it all depends on it!!
tc, rajveer.

Rajveer,

Thanks man. I just contacted the Visa office and they said my file is still with them. Apperantly when it gets moved it says Withdrawn on CIC. I was so looking forward to getting a reply or IA anytime soon. BTW, I applied in Buffalo and working in US.

Thanks againa,

Moh
