Topic: Decision Made
Posted by rohans (3) 20 Oct 2008
Hi,

My passport was requested presumably for the stamping purposes. I sent that two weeks ago. Today, the status changed to Decision Made. The note said that the decision has been made on your application and the office will contact you concering this decision.
I have paid the RPRF fees already along with my medicals.

SHould I be worried with this status change, or it is normal. By when, should I receive the formal communication from CIC.

Thanks!

So you did get your passport with the stamp, if yes, then in how many days?

Thanks

hi rohans,
don't worry about this. I have the same message since June and I have already received the passports with the visas.

Does anyone ever tried to bring the passport directly to the CHC to have his visa.
Did it really take 2 weeks to have them back? As it says on the paper they send?

curramba,

BTW did you find the lost passports of your daughters?

hey, my friend thanks a lot for the question. I'm glad you remembered.
The answer is YES, I found them in a pocket of one of my jeans.

BTW I'm planning to land by last week of November and come back after 2 weeks.
I'll keep you all posted. Good luck...

Curramba,

Glad to hear you found the passports. I remeber once a teacher at the school I worked was looking for 3 dictionaries. She wrote a big sign at the teachers' lounge asking to anyone to return them. After some weeks the sign was gone and another friend asked her if she found the dictionaries.

Yes, she said.

Where were them?

Answer: At home.

She wasn't willing to make any comment.

:)

This things happen.

keep the passports safe but not in a very difficult place to find.

I see many peoploe gettting crazy at the airports for that....

Daniel.
