Hi guys,
I have an interesting question just came up.
one of my friend got his canadian PR and he works for consulting firm here in US under H1B. his 140 is cleared and 485 pending. he wants to keep his H1B till he gets his green card as his priority date will take him 3 yrs to get it.
can he work in canada for another consulting firm on CORP-CORP basis maintaining his H1B for the employer here in US?
will it be possible
please give ur ideas

H1B is always with a company and not for individual. If the guy doesnt work for a company in US - visa is not valid.

Miyabhai.
I think its quite possible if its CORP-CORP.
I do agree H1B is for the company but if company has got a project for its client in canada, why not its possible?
The client in canada has to pay for the supply from other country.
Its like this we in H1B sometimes go and work in india as H1B for certain period of time. lets say 6 months.
so why not the same applicable to canada?
Thats my question.
anybody knows answer here?

Hello all,
I am very sorry to deflect you guys from your regular topic. I am asking my query in this topic as I found it alive at the moment. I am not from Federal Skilled Worker category. I am from Federal Business Class Category ( Entrepreneur ).
My question is, as we all know that the files are getting processed in a queue here at Net Delhi, India and hoping same elsewhere in world. So, are the queues for Federal Skilled Worker and Federal Business Class cases are same or there are separate queues for both?
Please share your ideas on same.
Regards,
Arpit Oberoi.
