Hi,
I had recieved the PPR to send the passport by 14 dec, and had sent it on Nov 29.
The fedex receipt shows it as delivered in Buffalo on Nov 30, but I have not recieved my passport back as yet.
Is there anyone else with similar experience (over 30 days since the passport was sent)? Any suggestions?

My passport was received by the Buffalo Consulate on dec 10, and I have not received it back. Honestly, I do not know what to do.

Same here....my passport reached on 30th November and on 28th of December, Buffalo replied back to an email I had sent saying that it was *still* in line for visa stamping. It's been more than a month since I sent it and I'm getting very frustrated of being constantly reminded that, "If you need your passport, it can be returned to you without the Visa.". hey all - this should give you some releif. I sent my passport in on Dec 3rd and have still not received it. I e-mailed them to ask where my passport was. And they said that they had a higher than usual volume of passports to process and they needed 2 more weeks than the usual estimated processing time of 15 work days. That comes up to one month. I hope this helps relieve the sense of "not knowing".

Hey guys. Have any of you received your passport back from Buffalo? I got a reply on 8th Jan saying "Please allow an additional two weeks". Not sure if that's two weeks more than 15 working days or 2 weeks from now.

I have also not recieved my passport as yet.
I sent an email today, to check with counsalate..let's see what I hear back from them

Hi guys
The Canadian Consulate received my passport on Dec 10/2007 and I got it back on Jan 9/2008. It will probably take one month -hopefully less- in your case too.

Hmmm my status hasn't changed yet. I hope it's just a case of Buffalo being inconsistent with updating e-CAS. Let me know if/when you get your passport back.

akamaize, I just got a reply from Buffalo saying my visa was issued today and I should be getting my passport soon.

Can you tell me if u r able to track your package on canadapost? cause i tried a few min back and it is not showing any tracking.

Nope....nothing showing on CanadaPost. They're very slow in updating tracking information so I expect to see something by tomorrow morning/afternoon.
