I am ready to send my wife's and my finger print card along with the PCC application. Do I need to fill two PCC-01 form or just one is fine? Also should I make two draft of $18, one for each of us? I am an Indian and have applied from usa to the buffalo center. Please advice. Thanks.

Hi,

You get your PCC from the Indian Consulate. Watever it is you need two. One for the principal applicant and other for the dependent. Also, for the finger printing you need to send $36 as the cost is $18 per person.I applied to Buffalo and did the same.I wonder why you did not send it in the beginning cos the check list sks for everything other than medicals right?

Regards,

AP

Yes, you and your wife are separate individuals so you will need two cards for FBI. One for her, and one for you.

You will also have to do same at your Indian consulate one for you, and if she has ever lived in India more than 6 months since turning 18yrs, one for her as well.

Some people quickly lodge their applications (even though incomplete) to get a place ahead in the line.... They don't take the IELTS or get their fingerprint clearance done first. I too frown upon this :(

Thanks you very much. I had applied without the PCC in August and got AOR in September.

Actually, submitting your application without the police clearance is a wise move since you will most likely be asked to do it again anyway. They are only considered valid for 1 year and lately most applications take more than that (for instance 1 1/2 in my case). So, when your application is actually processed you will be asked to obtain new clearances.

For everywhere except Buffalo, CIC has actually made this official by implementing a "simplified" application process, which basically means submitting your application without *any* of this extra stuff, then sending it later when they ask for it.
