Does anyone know whether it's possible to register children in school in Canada, prior to residency being granted, on the assumption that it will be granted?
We have informed the school that we intend to enrol the kids. We own a house (so are tax payers) in the right district for the school (that big yellow bus stops right outisde our door!!), it couldn't be more ideal ...
We're intend to go over this summer and stay there, awaiting the residency confirmation. Are we being naive? We've had our 90 day letter and will soon be sending off our updated docs in response.
Any ideas how long the system is currently taking (medicals, interview etc) up to visa being granted?
Is anyone else in the same boat, or perhaps have already done this? I'd love to hear from you asap.
Cheers!
