My husband filed his PERM process in eb3 in 2009 in java technology. We are waiting for our date to get current. Now, his technology has to be changed in the same company due to some reasons. Will his PERM process be affected due to change in technology? Does he need to update his PERM application with USCIS and his H1B affected??? OR his perm process is not affected at all?Kindly let us know , how should this be approached .
Please give us your feedback. We are not sure about this. Thanks in advance !

to h1h4help:

No it will Not be effected as PERM application is usually tied to SOC code which doesn’t talk technology

I have a approved PERM until May1st with Employer A which is 365 before the I94 expire date. I got a job through employer B and filed PERM in the march 1st week. My H1B is expiring by July 8th and I94 is expiring by July 18th.

My employer B has filed the extension for 1 year.

Can anyone tell whether USCIS will consider my employer A perm and give 1 year extension though employer B perm is not approved by that time.

PERM is tied to the specific job description and requirements listed on PERM not just the SOC code. The company recruited for that position, and should provide that job to him when the 485 is approved. You should talk to the immigration lawyer who handled the PERM.
