Topic: EC application status applied during april
Hi
HSMP Approval :- 25th March
EC applied for :- 4th April (Applied from delhi)
Integra called :- 29th April
EC :- Not yet
Please post your timelines. I am getting worried as the visa status is still the same as before since i applied on 4th April on https://www.vfs.org.in/ApplicantStatus.aspx
Can anyone tell how much more time is it going to take ?
Its really testing my patience ..

My situation:
HSMP Approval :- 19th March
EC applied for :- 21st April (Applied from delhi)
Integra called :- How do you come to know this? I called my present and previous employer, no body seems to have called them yet. Is this the way to know if Integra is called?
EC :- Not yet
VFS told me that its taking 18 working days in south. I applied in Hyderabad and its going to go to Chennai. I am still in the band of 18 days wait time. My only worry is that Integra has not called anybody yet.

Integra called :- NO body called me till date.
EC :- Not yet
VFS told me that its taking 18 working days it is almost 20th day now for me. Waiting for it.

Integra Called: My bank got a call on 6th May for fund verification.
EC: Not Yet
I guess due to change in the HSMP rules (HSMP to Tier 1) the process have slow down considerably, please add your annotations incase you feel otherwise.

its true that they r really taking time to process the visa application.. i dont have any idea whether they have called my bank..
does anyone know abt any number apart from VFS number where we can get any update abt our application ..

yes, they called my employer and verfied my employment history with them on 28th april..
after that, there is no update at all .

I have shown 4 lac + in my account. Some ppls shown less than 2 lac also. One my brother-in-law's friend shown only 1.5 lac in his account. His VISA got stamped. I dont know about rules.

Hi,
I called VFS customer care today and asked about the status. Every day they are updating the status after 6 PM (IST). One of the executive told me to check the status on Monday (12th May).

I see that you've applied on 4th April, was wondering wats the update on verification front.
Did integra called any of your referrals?
Also, I presumed that Mumbai & Delhi are the fastest VISA processing departments, I'm not sure what's causing the delay.

Integra has already done the verification with my employer on 28th April.
I applied from delhi and dont know what is causing the delay ..
really getting upset day by day ...

Your visa application has been forwarded to the British High Commission 04 Apr 2008
..still waiting ...i had around 2.5 lakh rs when i applied ..

even the same with me .. its showing the same status ---- forwarded to the British High Commission 08 Apr 2008 . I spoke to the British High Commission , channai today .they said they will take a decision in this week.

British high commission chennai no : 044 - 42192308 / 42192310 ( call from 08:30 to 11:30 mon to fri ).
Tester ,I dont know BHC number of north region , please send a mail to mumbai.visaenquiry@fco.gov.uk , you will receive an automated reply . you can find the bhc north phone number and details there.
Note : Please dont call BHC if the time lines are within their Service Levels ( 18 - 23 working days ...)..
if it is crossing 23 days then only call BHC.

Hi,
I tried calling BHC, Mumbai on 022-66502222 and an IVR played a message to call on following numbers for VISA enquiry:
022-66331700
022-66367066
022-22813616
But, unfortunately all the numbers keeps on ringing and nobody picks it up. I called up the main number (66502222), again and confirmed the issue and they said that's the only number we've been asked to give the customers.
Any idea if there is other number for BHC, Mumbai.

Same thing is happening with me ...for delhi they gave me Tel: 011-24100020-22 ..all three numbers kept on ringing and no one picks up the phone...

I suppose yours shouldn't take long as one of the aspirant just posted that when he called up BHC, Chennai they told him that they are going to take decision on his application this week and his application date is 8th April and yours is 4th.
So lets keep our fingers crossed and pray to GOD !!
