Hi,
Need help from someone who is well versed with HSMP procedure as I am a bit low on confidence on my concern.
I am 28 yrs old & have been working in UK on a WP since last 1+ years. My salary in hand in UK is £21600 & Indian Salary Gross is 6lac/annum. My qyery is:
(i) Do I qualify for HSMP? If yes, on which salary basis?UK or Indian or both?
(ii) If both, what all docs do i need to submit with the application & how to make the decalarations.

Can someone plz help me in filling the HSMP application form bcos as I said above, I am a bit low on confidence on this?

Thanks ..

HSMP is closed in UK. File Tier1 application: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/workingintheuk/pointsbasedsystem/
If you can not do it yourself (I can understand that. Application form is 53 pages. Real hassle) hire a layer.

For self assessment use http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/pointscalculator

Thanks Santa..& sorry for the mistake..I realize its Tier-! now & not HSMP..Thanks..:)
But as I said, I need to first get ensured that do I qualify for it & if yes, on which salary basis?
Indian - I reckon I do..
Uk - I reckon I don't
Indian + UK - I reckon I shouldbut don know how to declare.

Can you plz help me on this if u r well versed & have filed ur Tier-1 application urself. I have all teh docs ready, u c but don wanna to unnecesaary waste money hiring a lawyer if its a simple procedure.

Kindly let me know..Thanks

Buddy, a waste of money will be if you fill the form in a wrong way. Layer fee usually £500 and application fee is £750. :)
But any way lets count

You are 28 years old. - 20 points
I suppose you have a bachelor degree? - 30 points
1 year in UK (and earn more than £16.000) - 5 points

It means you need to score 20 points more to be qualified.
So you have to show £23,000 of income before tax.
You did not provide much details but I suppose you get income from several sources during this period.
if you earn £21600 during 12 moths in UK and spend all this time here you have to show £1400 coming from different sources.

If you are employed worker For UK part you have to provide payslips and bank statements.
and the most interesting part is what do you have to support your claim about additional income.
This is stickiest part and I would suggest to avoid using any non UK income unless it is unavoidable.

boost up your confidence by reading guidelines provided by UKBA , yes you can qualify but do it your at your own.

because no boddy knows better about you than yourself.

good luck

Thanks Santafor ur kind help on this..
Let me put more details on my case..I work for an Indian MNC & am deputed here in UK at client site for almost 2 years now.
I get £1800/mnth (or £21600/annum) here in UK as Allowance & back in India, I alsi get my full salary (6+ lakhs/annum).

I understand based on UK salary, I dont qualify but if I also consider Indian salary, I reckon I do. My only concern is how to put thsi in the Tier-1 application form, asin, how do I make declarations..
I do have all the salary slips of Indian & UK salary & can get it attested it from teh company I work for. Also, I can get all the back statements for teh last 1 year for Indian & UK salary. But I dont have Income Tax filie returns for Indian salary.

Could you pzl now suggets what is the best I can do now to apply for Tier-1 & also, any furtehr docs required, so that I can try arranging it. FYI, I also have that University letter stating my Model of teaching is in English.

Thanks a lot..

>> But I dont have Income Tax filie returns for Indian salary.
You can use alternative set of evidences: payslips and bank statements.
As HO emphasizes in its guidelines: 2 pieces of evidences coming from different sources.
Do that they expect you to do and everything will be all right
