Topic: I have an Offer Letter from, Is there any way to make things quicker???
Posted by tiredofdubai (16) 13 May 2008
Hi All, I have an offer letter from UK but I am still waiting for the approval of my application (for 54 days). As per the HSMP web-site:

"We are currently unable to offer an urgent treatment service, including urgent requests which we currenty hold. This is due to a recent large increase in the number of HSMP applications we receive. We will keep this situation under regular review."

I am wondering if there is any way to make things faster? Like for example, if I go and try to meet with some people in the Home Office and tell them that I have an offer letter does it help me? Or maybe if I hire a consultant does it matter?

If somebody knows sth on this I appreciate your help..

Thanks.. Murat.

Unfortunately offer letter will not help you. Everybody goes in Queue irrespective of you have job or not.

Dear Murat,

From which country did you apply for the HSMP?
I mean, did you apply from a tax free country?

Regards,
Qumar

Initially they have URGENT Treatment of processing the visa and in that case people use to send offer letter's to qualify for Urgent Treatment. Now they have decided to stop it. Hence my conclusion. If you see official site they have not mentioned any other way to get it done faster other than conventional way.

Consultants approached me. Just put a CV to efinancialcareers.com if you are in finance. Otherwise try monster.com.

Hi Murat,

Sending a FAX to HSMP team with Urgent Request may speed up the process. This process worked for me.

Can you provide me some way to get the Job Offer from UK. Any consultancy based or any other. Because I need to apply for EC. My email id is vinsonvk@gmail.com

Thanks
Vamsi Krishna
