hey guys whats happening... its 22nd may...why aren't there any updates...even the home office phone is giving the same message saying that they are still working on application recieved on 28th feb...

I called up the incompetent idiots at HO just then to inquire about my application, which was received 1 April. I was told they were still processing applications received 28 Feb. How pathetic is that?! This waiting game is making so frustrated. I have had such bad experience with the HO people - every time you call up you get told something different!

Hi,
My application reached the home office on 25th March 2008 and the fee got debited on 26th Mar but i still haven't received my reference no. Everytime i mail them i get the same reply that they will not answer any queries within the waiting time.
Anyone else who hasn't received their reference no.?

It took them some time to send me email confirmation of receipt of my application and provide me with a reference number. My application was sent on 31 March, it was received 1 April, payment taken on 7 April and I didn't receive my reference number until 16 April. But yours seems to be overly long? Perhaps you should call them... and then be placed on hold for eternity.

i've tried calling but haven't got through even once. And they send the same reply everytime i mail them.

I had sent my application on Mar 17th and Appl. Recvd on Mar 19th.
I called up Home Office and got the reference number .IVR says they r processing feb 28th applications.
HO representative said my application is not assigned to case worker yet.
One of Friend whose Application Recd. Date is Mar 4th has got his approval.
Seems march applications are moving . According my thinking Mar mid applicants might have to wait a month more max.
Lets hope n wait for the D-Day ..
