I am applying for EC from india.Usually what are all the details they take from employer?.
Will it be over phone or in person?.Do they take any written confirmation from the employer?.

Yes, they will send a word file in an Email, with all the details you claimed , will orally get clarified as well as they expect the employer to send these details filled up in the word file they sent by Email. I got the document- sent to my employer, will try to post those details later

Guys, can any one of you tell me if you have provided copies of mark sheets (all years / sems) along with the degree certificate? I have all the mark sheets except the final semester one and now I've to get it from the university if it is mandatory. Please let me know if just the degree certificate will do for integra verification...

I have a basic query regarding the Integra Verification Process. On the ukvisas website, it says that for the Integra Screen there is no separate fee to be paid, but on Integra's website, it says we need to pay 5,900 INR for the process. After contacting Integra, they told me that the fee of 5,900 is for Voluntary Fasttrack Programme and they service is not mandatory but voluntary to avail. so, my question is: Is there a dire need to go for the Integra Screen process or not?

I too have same doubt , i read somewhere in this forum only that now BHC has made integra verifivation is mandatory for every HSMP application.
No clue whether it is true or not. If u got any exact information abt this plz post here.

Hi there
Yes, Interga Verification is now mandatory for all HSMP & Work Permit applications. They have a separate Integra form along with EC Form for the same.

Could you please send me across the document sent to your Employer ,my current employer is not cooperating and says he cannot authorise and reply Integra's mail .. Also if you have any idea could you let me know how much impact will it have on the process if current employer is not willing to fill in the document and send it back to Integra .. I have provided all employer related documents like payslips ,experience certificate and infact Integra Pople called me and said that my employers are not willing to give them the details only then i came to know that they have contacted my HR else i wouldnt have known ..
I am really tensed up and keping my fingers cross tosee what could be the outcome

Well guys, I had a very bad experience with these Integra screening guys... They are really really dumb... They didn't even check whether I had applied for H.S.M.P. or work permit...
Basically I applied for work permit and they refused my visa on the basis of H.S.M.P. Reason... I provided only 1 document that was my relieving letter from the company and it's sufficient for Work permit... But they are so stupid that didn't even contact my company and refused my visa saying that you have provided Forged documents on the basis of H.S.M.P....
Crazy guys... Wasting money and time...
Well Again I have applied for the same with all the evidence and documents they need... Hope this time they will reach them...

even i too had applied for work permit . integra claims that that they will chek bank/employer/college regarding the certificates. they had checked with my present employer and got it done it seems. however they havent checked with my bank still now it seems. ( i confirmed it from bank manager) .already 10 days had gone. do u have any idea ? if so please share it. it will be helpful to all.

Don't worry I guess they will only check with your employers that's it... well regarding institute.. I'm not sure... but they are only interested in your work experience that's it.. In my case they didn't even check with them... that's a big problem.... Well I think you have got it...

thanx 4 ur courtesy. what was ur job 4 which u had got the work permit? mine is in hotel industry. the catering college which i had studied 10yrs b4 is closed now. i dont know what will happen and iam much confused. please chek with ur hr manager / acounts manager / owner / boss etc regarding this. Integra will chek / contact to the people who had issued the certificate to you. if they had confused them or given some other details apart from the things which u had provided the embassy then there will be a mismatcg between ur statement and ur employers statement. this might had led to the integra people that u had forged the documents. for heavens sake u chek once again with ur employer. i think they are playing a double game.
if they are sure then u can appeal. if possible u send the scaned version of ur visa rejection letter to me .

U dont have to send mark sheets. Original degree certificate suffies the purpose if you have not submitted the marksheets for HSMP approval.

Can u please advise..My employer in UK has applied for Work Permit and has been approved Now i will be goin back to India for my EC for Work permit. How much time will it take Do i have also to go through the Intergra verification Process...
If yes wat all will they verify.. Is it that they will verify my employers whom i worked for 2 and half years back...since currently i was stuyding in UK and finished my course...

If you are a current student apply for ec, directly from here
They will change the status
Absolutely Nothing to worry
make sure you take your academic statements
letters from your employer ect(a letter from director and so on.
You can ask them for a urgent treatment if your student visa run out.
Please contact home office pub;lic inquiry where they will help you with ciorrect advice

Can any one let me know urgently how much time Integra takes from the date of filling EC application to call up the employer's. I applied for my EC on 26th Feb '08 and as of today, my line manager hasn't received any call yet. Any response on this query is much appreciated.

Hi, employer gets a call after about 7-8 days of ur filing the application for EC...So dont worry for a few more days. All the best.

Integra will usually talk to your HR manager, not line management as HR can confirm your DoJ, salary etc.

I have a quick question....!!! I have 2 employers in last 1 year. I joined my current employer on 23rd August 2007. So for Integra screen do I need to send employer details of my current employer or do i need to send details of my last employer too?
If we calculate 6 months from now ( 1st March 2008) it comes 1st october 2007? Kindly confirm as i had left my past empoyer 7 months before

Thanks for the response.had another clarification.i have provided my line manager's mobile no. Along with his visiting card.have not provided my HR's no. Though my HR is aware of my EC application.will this be a problem.will integra take the trouble of finding out my HR's no.?awaiting for the response.thanks a lot

Whether Integra will call the number you provided them or not is entirely upto them. They may or may not. They usually findout the companys board no. and ask for the HR manager. Now what u can do is let your manager know that if he gets a call from integra he should forward it to HR manager or maybe if he knows all your details he may give all the info and then integra might not even ask for HR manager. Also let your receptionist know incase he/she gets a call it should be forwarded to your manager/HR. Some receptionists are dumb and dont understand whom to forward the call to.
Keep me posted and let me know when your employer gets a call. Integra might also ask your HR for email id, forward a word file which the employer has to fill to confirm the details you provided integra.

My freind has applied for EC and Integra verification came to office as well, but HR Manager is not providing information thinking that he will leave the organization, and HR manager is probing the same with him. Any Idea what Integra people do in such case?
As per my understanding once after filing the EC it is the job of Integra to verify the genuinity of the applicant through different ways.
Is Integra verification department working with any Legal body wherein any information asked by Integra has to be provided by Companies of HR? Is HR of companies are legally bound to provide the information of employee? I think they should be legally bound to do so, with the consent of employee. Otherwise sometimes it is very difficult for applicant to get the proper response from HR to integra. Please Help what should be done?
