Sorry for breaking the flow of your post....!!I have one urgent query..!! I am about to apply for EC...!! Kindly help me out....!!I have got my HSMP approved. I have query regarding EC assets. I have liquid cash in bank account for around 1Lakh 50 thousand...!!and i have around 2lakh 50 thousand in form of Public Provident Fund (PPF), Mutual Funds.
Are PPF and Mutual funds come under LIQUID cash catagory. What I mean to say is 2800 pound = 2 lakh 24 thousand.... so do i need to have 2 lakh 24 thousand in cash in bank or the break up which i have shown above 1.e. 1lakh 50 thousand cash + 2 lakh 50 thousand ( PPF + Mutual Funds ) will be ok. Kindly calrify.
Apart from that I am thinking of getting sponsorship letter from my FATHER and will show his bank details. Do you have format for sponsoship letter from FATHER. On paul blogspt he has given for "BROTHER" who is in USA. Kindly help me out...!!

I have dropped the documents for EC on Feb 25 2008 at hyderabad and waiting for result.
When can i expect the result? VFS people told it take 12-18 days to take the decision.

I applied on Feb 6th from bangalore. Today (Mar4th 2008) got approved EC.

Hi I applied for EC from Hyderabad on March 4th. Could u please tell me when Integra people will call current employer after applying. Will Integra people call to previous employers also. What questions will they ask.

My EC Filed Date: 25 Feb 2008
To day Integra Verification people called me and asked the current salary and then
they called the Current Employer.
i dont know whether they call the previous employer or not.
In my case i used previous employer payslips for getting the approval.
i think they will call my previous employer[My case]. i wil update if they call my prev emp.

So we will expect call from Integra after 7 days. what are the questions they have asked your employer? I am very much tensed as this will be integrity. I am working in same company from past 2 years.

dont worry abt their questions. normally HR wil give the reply to their questions.

I applied for EC at Hyd on Feb 7th, 20 business days have past, and still they say
the application is under process. So to be safe estimate around 25-30 business days.

I enquired with HR and he said nobody has contacted him so far.

Thanks for the update....
After Integra verification... your reports will be sent to BHC Case worker and he will make the final decision.
Regarding Integra : I was reading many posts in last one month... Integra is not calling to the employees who are working for big MNC's. This is just a observation, this might be applicable for all the cases.

I put March 1st as my travel date on the EC application form.
EC Applied for Wp: 7 Feb 2008.
Location: Hyderabad.
Status: Application Forwarded to BHC.
Integra Status: I am not sure, they have not called me or my employer. Are they supposed to call ?
Is it mentioned anywhere that they would call? After looking in the forums, I came to know that
Integra screen guys call. But how the hell employer knows this if they call them. My employer
did not know anything about Integra (I had to tell them).

As mentioned above... There is no rule that integra will call all the applicants. Its specific to each case; Two of my friends who work for my previous company never got any call. They just got visa stamped after 18 & 20 days. Hoping same will happen to your case.
So don't worry about the call.

As expected status remains same in the website. Thanks to blazing victory of Indian Cricket Team in CB Series against Australia; This helped me to divert my thoughts on cricket... else I would be counting working days on my outlook calender and check VFS site thrice in a day.

Hello all,
We donot have a tracker for EC specifically, I have seen trackers for HSMPC here. How about a tracker for EC ?
I have contacted trackitt and they were kind enough to include tracker, provided we give them a template for it
with all fields that should be displayed. We should build up the kind of fields required for this and pass them on
to trackitt. The BHC does not provide any current information regarding the way they process the cases and timeframes (shame on them ofcourse!), let us help ourselves using trackitt. Here is list of fields in my mind for EC tracker.
Applied Date (Date field)
VFS Center (A text field or a drop down menu)
Type of Visa (WP/HSMPC) (dropdown menu of WP and HSPMC)
Integra Status (Text field)
Date recieved (Date field)
Comments (Text field)
Comments welcome ! (I am new to the UK visa stuff)

Today is the 8th working day and still no call from Integra to my current & previous employer. Has it happend in the past that visa was granted to the applicant without the integra check. My worry here is that as of today there is no Integra check done, will it impact the overall turn around time of visa application process. I am looking to get my visa asap as my last date to enter U.K. is approaching fast under HSMP rule.
Please advise.

My employer just emailed me that a lady from Integra screen has called them and said that they would be emailing a Document to verify my employment with them. The Integra screen lady also mentioned that entire process has to happen through email.
Details:
EC applied (WP): Feb 7th, 2008.
Location: Hyderabad, India.
Integrastatus: They called my employer today (Mar 10), yet to the send the document for verification.
Visa Status: Forwarded to BHC.
My view of Integrascreen: Bunch of loosers and dumb people who happen to be lazy and donot know how to spend the fee we pay them.

Has any body faced this kind of delay? Since I am loosing my salary because of delays from Integrascreen, Is it possible to
take legal action against them ? Please if anybody has done such thing, share your experience. Thanks!

@Sudhanshu. As pointed out by couple of people in this group, there is no hard and fast rule that Integra contacts your employer. Some people have been granted visa with out any contact from Integrascreen. It may take long time for Integrascreen to contact your employer too (not that they always delay). Integrascreen contacted my employer after 25 business days ! Good luck!

I got the call on 8th working day from BHC and she asked me the current salary and comapny name. Then immediately they called the current employer and verified my joining date,salary and designation,employment period.

Good to know that your integra process is completed. I understand from your earlier posts that you applied from Hyderabad. Even, I had applied from Hyderabad. Today is my 8th Working Day. My case is same as yours.. I had cliamed points through my old employeer. Just curious to know... what time of the day did they call you? What are the questions did they ask you (Specific if any)? Did integra verify your detials with your current employeer by email or phone?
