Hello everyone,
I thought I will start this thread, for those who are applying from UK for FLR(HSMP).
I have applied for FLR today after getting my approval.
Please post your comments, if you have any details on the turnaround time for FLR HSMP

I got my approval today and am planning to apply for FLR.
Could u please tell me is there any FUND amount that's needed to be shown as proof , if so plz let me know the required amount and one more question is that there's no column to sudmit e-mail ID as in HSMP from ,so how people getting ref mumber through mail id.

Congrats for your HSMP Approval.
As per the funds are concerned. There is no hard and fast rule that you have to show a minimum figure in you back account. But its adviced that you show liquid funds that can help you survive in the UK for atleast 3-4 months without a job. Intention is to make sure you will not use any public funds from the government.
And for your second question, Yes there is a place in page3 Q11, where you enter your email address. If you have not got your reference number you can call the HO and request one.

I have been dragging my FLR Application for the past 3 to 4 days. I have few queries can you please try to answer.
Some questions may be silly but for my peace of mind :)
Case info. - HSMP applied before 29th Feb and approval letter received 18th of march so I suppose to apply FLR through Tire 1 application form.
1. In dependent application what is the title for kids. should I select 'others' and say 'master'?
2. Dependent application form Question D4: ENTER THE VISA NUMBER OR ENTRY CLEARANCE NUMBER?
how do I find out this number? I have got quite a few numbers on my visa page in passport which is the correct number?
3. Dependent application form Question H2. HAS THE MAIN APPLICATION RECEIVED NOTIFICATION THAT THEIR APPLICATION FOR LEAVE TO REMAIN UNDER THE POINTS BASED SYSTEM HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL?
What the answer if the dependent applies along with main applicant?
4. Dependent application form Question H3. "Under which category of the Points Based System has the main applicant applied?"

5. My application has 2 dependents(wife and kid. all applying together) so How do I show the maintenance proof for dependents? B'cos I have got only one set of bank statements. Is that one copy is enough for all main and 2 dependents or I need to attach separate copies for dependents. If I have to attache 3 copies the rest 2 apart from original can be photo copied?
Guyz I am really confused can please try to answer these questions. When call up HO help line they are seems to be very helpful answering... so please help me.

The stamp on the passport clear say which is entry clearance, enter that number

answer is no if you are applying dependents along with main applicant(in this case yours)

If you are applying with main applicant then one Orginal copy is enough and mention this in the covering letter.

hi, i applied for hsmp on november.but still i didnt get any approval from home office.i applied to switch from student visa.can u guide me..its more than 23 weeks ..i am really confused about thisone

You should talk to them pretty boldly - 14 weeks is the deadline- you should be very worried by now.

hi, this is suresh, i applied to hsmp visa entry elecreance in india, they refused my application and send the documents back, in those documents my hsmp approvial leter is missed, so any one can advise me i need to get new approvial leter or photo copy is suficent to go to interview.

For your information sake let me make you aware that things have been and are different when it comes to INDIA. It was easy for you to do things accordingly by urself becuase u were in UK and u applied HSMP from UK.
I am very sure if you had come to india and then applied from INDIA for HSMP then things wouldn't had been the same and you might had been waiting for just the Approval for long compare to UK. And the chances would have been even worse because the rejection rate for ENTRY CLEARANCE at UK Embassy in INDIA is high.
In UK and INDIA there is a proper System for everything but the only difference is that no one follows the System in INDIA where as Everyone does follow the System in UK. And that is the major reason that makes things easier over there in UK.

I know people who applied from India with proper documentation and without any consultant help getting HSMP approval and EC with set time frame. I agree that it takes more time to get EC in India than in UK, but It doesnt make much difference bcoz HSMP is approval process happens in UK.
For the updates few of my friends who made the application on the same date as mine got approval and EC b4 i got my FLR.
And these r nt spl cases just proper documentation and planning.
One more thing is consultants also go through the guidelines and as per my knowledge UK Embassy in INDIA doesnt give any special treatement if u apply through a consultant. So better to read the guidelines properly and discuss any doubts or issues in this forum.

I will appreciate if you can guide me to apply for my HSMP Visa. I got Approval of my HSMP Application under the Old Scheme on 21st January 2008 wide Home Office Letter Reference No- 243452.
I am required to apply for my Visa within 6 months from the date of the letter which is 20 July 2008.
My Specific Questions are-
1) Can I show the Balance of about (GBP 5000) and apply for visa as under old scheme, it was not mandatory to maintain balance for 3 months.
2) Can I produce the same letter fro m the University to prove my English Proficiency as IELTS which was also not mandatory when I got the Approval of HSMP.
This may please be treated as Most Urgent to enable me to apply for my Visa before my validity expires.

If the EC is refused is in India, sometimes they will not send back the HSMP approval letter. this happend in my brother's case too. But if you wish to re-apply for EC, you can submit a photocopy of the approval letter and explain them why you supplied photo copy. Hope this would help. All the best.

If you are looking Urgent treatment for for Tier1 application. then it is not available.
There is no urgent treatment for Tier1 application. However you can write a letter explaning your reason and evidance.
then they might treat the case as urgent.

You will need to put your request for withdrawal in writing to the Tier 1 team.
either by Fax or by post.

Hi,
It is not advisable to withdraw if you are reaching 10 weeks as you can question them the status after 10 weeks.
Once you reach 10 weeks you can call them ask the status and tell them it is urgent also.
So would like to talk to the manager then they might put you to Manager. Speak to him clearly and get the status and also the how much more time required to process your application.

Hi friends,
please help me:
1. HSMP visa from July 11 2007 to July 11 2008
2. Landed on UK on 2nd of Aug
3. Started working from 12 September 2007 to 30 March 2008 as employee
4. Registered company on mid Feb 2008 and started working under company from 31 march 2008 till date and hope to work same way further
1. I have a cumulative income in range of £26,000 - £28,999 can i show both of this cumulative?
2. Do I need to show the income of 12 months which will be the income of UK plus the income in my home town too or no need because it meets the points from Uk's income itself?
3. Do I need to fill up some separate application from for my wife (dependent)? and if yes does she too have to show the bank statements on her own to show the min maintained fund or we can show only my bank statement which should cover (£ 1600 + £ 800). Please guide me what is the right way to show the maintained fund.
4. I should pay the application form price as £700+ one rather than £ 300+ one right?
I know most of the questions are very simple and i should not ask :) but i am too nervous and need to be verified. please help.
I do have prepared the documents with the check list as follows please let me know if I need to show any more documents to apply to extend my visa from HSMP to Tire 1 (General).

Hey friends,
I applied for uk entry clearance as a dependant husband and I got refuse with the reason they gave me that I didnt prove that the accomodation I shown is big enough to live for couple. So I put Apeal file last week with few more documents which prove the enough space of accomodation. Can anyone tell me that how much time they goin to take to gimmi answer? Please.
