Topic: Regarding HSMP ENTRY Clearnce
Hello Every one I need information regarding applying for entry clearence,
I got my HSMP approval on march 14th on old scheme, am presently on working holiday in UK,some people are saying that i need to go back home country for entry clearnce,Can any one please let me know how to apply for the entry clearnce to get stamped on passport.

Please cross check with - Home Office - I do not think it is so.
Have you downloaded the FLR form ?
Which sections do we need to fill in ?

HI as the tier 1 the new hsmp systems as been put in place.You would have to go back to india for your EC.

Hi ,
I had applied on May-12th-2008 for EC.I got approval in Old scheme.
I had shown 2800GBP in my savings account for 3 months with a help of personal loan of 1.5 lakhs. My account balance at the time of applying EC is nearly 4000GBP.
I had also submitted an Job offer of 45,000GBP in UK.
I had also submitted the loan approval document.
Keeping my fingers crossed wheather i will get the VISA or Not?
Any one let me know my chances of getting VISA please?

yep people are on WHM must go back to thier country of birth and apply from there
WHM is not in immigration cetogory.

Be Bidaas!!!! u will get VISA 100%.....u have shown bank balance, Job Offer letter. If the ingra verification is clean then u will get VISA....

i applied for EC on 7th may .. but i was not aware of maintance fund of 2800 pound. but i have this amount for 2 months in saving account and i showed PF and Mutaul funds .. all together i showed 7700 GBP. Is that ok ? I submitted one offer letter from Indian MNC along with the EC form. Now iam little bit worrried whether i will get EC or Not? IF now how we can re apply for EC? please guide me..

I think you can apply from UK itself. Many students have similar case as urs. They have HSMP approval letter and sent their passport to get stamped from the HO in UK only, just ask a few student visa person, they are all very clever I suppose.

like you I have also applied a personal loan of 4.5 lacs , 3 lacs i have taken from my father .
In total i am showing a balance of 7.5 lacs i.e. close tom 8000 GBP ..
But i will be showing this with the help of personal loan.
Can you please tell what kind of document did you give as Loan approval letter .
why i am asking this is because when i had asked my ICICI loan executive for loan approval letter
he said that in case of personal loan you do not get any loan approval letter.
that is why i am asking you ....
ALSO :
I just happened to talk to ICICI and HDFC guys , what they told me is that , in case of personal loan , I will be getting a welcome letter+Loan repayment schedule(both signed and stamped) and not the loan sanction letter .
I wanted to ask you that did you submitted the same documents i.e.welcome letter+Loan repayment schedule(both signed and stamped) OR the loan sanction letter ???
if you got the loan approval letter ...how did you managed to get it ??

Hi Sameer,
In my bank statement it is clearly mentioned as that money has come from personal loan "Personal Loan approved Bindas-loan account mumber",
and also i submitted the loan document which HDFC bank has sent to me. This document will say loan has been dispatched and EMi is so much per month and also loan account number.
Don't worry this document is enough.

unfortunately my statement does not displays the exact words "Personal Loan" .. rather it displays "PL+the loan account number" .I am yet to get that welcome letter+the loan repayment schedule .. that i hope will come within 10 days.
Will this be enough ?? As my statement is not displaying "Personal Loan" thing , will it be considered incomplete ??

withrow and balanc has gone to 1,83,000. So Now what shold I do. I have another two bank accounts and there are rs 50000/-. so Can I show
These three bankl account and to average is aroound Rs 2,38,000.
I am applying wiht my wife, so now I sold my euity share to show bank balance Rs. 5,00,000/.
Only question in my mind is before 15 days my balance had down ?
So above my solution is right or have you good suggetin for me?
I am going to Ec to Mumbai or Ahemdabad, Which one is good and lucky for me.

Well, u can apply for EC uptil 17Jul 2008.
As ur wife is coming with u, u must have 2800 + 1600 (wife as dependant). This is the maintenance reqmnt for ur case.
So u shud note that and as far as possible, show the most funds available, aslo u may be having fixed deposits. Can add that with a letter from the bank that u can withdraw them any time, which becomes liquid fund and may be used for maintenance purposes.
Now take a pen and paper and see for the last three months, do ur funds add upto 4400 pounds? If u have patience and do not want to take chances, you shud wait till u have the balance for the last 3 months. Just a view.

Please help as early as possible ,
I got HSMP approval letter on 24/02/2008 under old rules and have applied for EC on 22/05/2008. According to new rule come after April my application got rejected due to lack of maintenance funds for the month of February(23/2/2008) ,March ,April(29/04/2008), this could be difficult for me to maintain sufficient funds for the month of feb/march/april since new rule is applicable April onwards moreover I am not aware of this new rule before April ,I have my funds in May month and also submitted my bank statement(ABN AMRO Bank) upto 21/05/2008.
If I go for fresh application i have to wait upto August to maintain same funds from May to August but at that time my HSMP will be expire. suppose if go for fresh application then when i can apply in august please guide me specific date..(i have funds from 12/05/2008)..
please guide me which is the best option 1) admin review appeal 2) fresh application
maximum how many days will it take for admin review appeal? if they responde before august then i can for fresh application depends on status.. i think they wouldn't give origional HSMP approval letter so please guide for fresh application

I think - all that is needed is a Bank Statement - quoting - Available Funds in the Account No. is > £ 2800.
What is the Fax No. for Urgent treatment of FLR-HSMP application - any ideas ?

they are not accepting urgent treatment forms. I tried to send one but they refused to accept it and basically said get in the queue.
