Yes i am waiting since Aug 21 2006. But my case is applied online i got three LUDs.Latest LUD is 07/28/2007. My company lawyer opned SR on feb 15 2008. I am waiting for some answer from the USCIS.

I am waiting for the decision of NSC after reply to RFE on Feb 08. RD is Oct. 06. NSC-EB2-Perm.

I dont know if this means something or not. My attorney also applied online and submitted the paperwork later. Also I'have seen other cases with the same condition

Yes I am waiting since 15 Nov 2006 @ NSC. I applied on paper. Opened an SR on 27th dec , havent heard anything bout that. called On 28th Jan, was told my case is with an officer so I shluld hear soem thing soon. On 22 Feb my pending 485 cases were transferred from TSC to NSC. ON calling the IO told me that they are trying to pool all my cases and that my case was no longer assigned to an officer and may have to wait for 60 days to hear something.

Me too. My I-140 was filed in Nov 27 2006. Opened two SRs so far. But no luck. Last LUD was on 01/06/08.

I got approval today. Update following list.

Security Review in I-140 stage is basically a Background Check on Current & Prior Employment History & and if Univ Degrees r bonafide.Normally if thats the case, the pending I-140'll be transferred from TSC/NSC to a field office.

Current Status: Document mailed to applicant.

On March 26, 2008 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.


can you guys tell me what is this?
what is the meaning of document mailed to applicant.....
after long time 19 months i got this one....
i am little bit worrying

Usually it is an approval, I've been reading some cases with inquiries like yours and 99% of the times it is an approval. So looks like you will have party this weekend.

I don't understand this LUD on 07/28/2007 thingy - does this mean they have not touched the case since then?
I am also having this same LUD date and it's freakin frustrating to see this.

Based on the last processing dates, in theory all people from this discussion must have an answer on your I-140, is this true?

Im assuming that all of you pending for an answer received something by now , like a RFE etc.. is this accurate?

Some old 2006 pending cases have generated RFE's, some had soft LUDs with no status update and the others just had no change at all after the filing date. Most RFEs were replied on time and some RFE cases did get approved thereafter while so many (post)RFE cases are still pending. The average wait time for response after USCIS receives RFE is around 2-4 weeks.

Where are you in the process?

Thanks, I'm stuck'd on my I140, I submitted on March 12th, got a LUD March 2nd and thats it. My I485 was submitted July 2nd and my PD is Oct 2006 EB3...



Under this trend I will be here for the next 15 years, so I working on a possible EB2 upgrade

It looks like NSC started working on I-140s filed in 2006.

My Case Info:

Applied on : 21 Sep 2006
Last Update Date changed on : 13 Mar 2008 (but status did not change on this date)
Status changed on : 18 Mar 2008 (Approval sent)

I guess.. everyone will receive the approvals pretty soon....

You should hear something on your case from USCIS shortly, since you got one soft LUD on this March 02 after about 1 year of filing. If you get your I-140 clear you can live/work here legally until you get your GC which will come on its own time:).
Let us all see the good side of it and be happy.

I am in the same boat. my rd is oct 19, 2006. one soft lud on 12/22/07. same as yours. i had my lawyer send an SR about 2 months ago. no response from the uscis. i can understand your frustration, because i am just as frustrated. specially when i hear people worrying over approvals from june july 07 RD's. i really dont know what to do at this point. my lawyer keeps saying there are alot of others in the same boat, so just relax. i am serioiusly thinking about approaching local congressman.

Don't think ... simply contact your local congressman's office immediately.

Yes, I am waiting since June 2006 (EB2) with Nebraska Service Center.

No updates yet. Although, I do see a soft LUD of November 2007 but I am not sure what it means.

Any ideas?
