Topic: Eb2-Niw Question.

hello track(itt)ers !
I need some advice. I did my bachelor and master in IT/AI and have ten years experience in IT. I work for an Indian Ocean based regional company. I have also been working in several governmental agency as an external consultant for it security.

I have several It professional certification CISSP,OCP,MCSE etc.

I wish to apply for Eb2-NIW-ROW but....I am planning to bag another two certification by june this year Cisco CCSP/CCVP and CISA. What do i do ?

Apply now and send an addendum to my qualification ?

or

Apply when all cert are bagged...

please advise..

If I were you, I would wait until I have everything. June is not that far away.

NIW is intend for people who do original research in the national interest. Certificates will be useless for your NIW petition. You need publications and citations of your own work (or newspaper articles about your work, etc).

Thanks guys/gals, i have never viewed the eb2-niw in this framework.

It was more a frame of min to have the best reference (i.e. exmans, docs etc). But actually convincing USCIS that you are the best thing this since sliced bread is the 'sesame' to open the door.

wish me luck i will send the 'package' by monday...

I agree with enduring's comment "It is more important to spend your efforts figuring out how to tell USCIS that your research is in national interest, satisfy all the three prongs of NYSDOT". It is absolutely RIGHT and Most Important for EB2-NIW case!! Good luck.
