Topic: For those who believe ....
For those of us who believe in the power of prayer, let us bind together and make our petition known unto God!
I would like to invite anyone regardless of religion to join me to pause and offer a 2 minute prayer anytime everyday. Let's ask God to guide and enlighten USCIS so they could adjudicate all pending cases in right order and timely manner.
The more we bind ourselves in prayer, the stronger it gets. Please remember everyone who has a pending GC in prayer if you would like to join. Add your name/alias to the list if you want me to pray for you too. God bless us all.

you can simply pray and greencard will fall on your lap. Right! God can do anything!!
and if you have applied and have not got greencard. Then maybe God does not want it for you. Why doyou want to go against God's wishes :)

Why did I apply for the GC? Because that is God's will for me to apply and receive it. God loves to talk to his people thru prayer, but we all get busy and at times forget to pray. Waiting anxiously for a GC is one way of God's way of getting our attention. We pray and if we pleased Him, He will answer our prayer ... but of course according to His will.
Am I going against God's wishes ... did you get the confirmation email from CRIS that my 485 have been denied? :) |
Let's pray for one another. My church is also praying with us. And I am committing myself to continue praying for you guys even if my GC had been given.

Count me in though I can pray 9:00 pm EST. I strongly believe in the power of prayers and also believe in karma. I feel that prayer releases some of my worrries also and gives me strength of mind to face any situation in life. One day we will all see the end of tunnel (the light).

It is a matter of faith perspective. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
God is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine. Just that he does it in his own time which often does not coincidence with out time table or agenda.

Isaiah - Pls include me in your Prayer. Only he can rescue us from this ocean of uncertainity. God's mere glance on us will change our lives. For God the whole World is his stage. He can bring the right players at TSC or NSC and grant us our wish. GC might be something easy for him since he is capable of granting bigger things. I will also pray for all of you.

GOD can do anything but for u to get it u need to try. Just by sitting at one place and asking for something and dont want to try for it then u will never get. U need to do ur part and GOD will do HIS, as it is said "SEEK and u shall find".
HOPE u guys understand, we wanted a green card so we applied the waiting for years/RFE etc is HIS way to say that the time is not right for you or may be testing you.

rkkr, that time has really no significance at all. that's the time i thought would work out for everyone not thinking the east is 3 hours ahead. i will modify my initial post to prevent any more confusion . thanks for bringing this up. |

Well I got this doubt bcoz I try to do Universal Prayer every day at 9PM local time where ever I am, so I was wondering if you have any significance with 9PM. It should work for me. But if every one can do it will help to all those believe. Anyways thank you for your quick reply and hope every one will agree with your idea.

Hello all,
I am new to this discussion, and still waiting for my GC. I'm an EB3 June filer, and have not had an LUD since July 28, 2007.
I am a strong believer in God, and have learned over the years that His will for us, while not always what we want, is so much better and bigger than anything we can imagine for ourselves. When we make plans, he looks on us and says "How small you think. I have bigger plans for you."
To that end, I have always prayed for God's will to be done, whether it's my will or not. But if it's possible, please be with the USCIS and help them to see my GC through.
So I say we need to walk by faith, and not by sight. Do what we can, and trust God with the rest.
I'm in for the 9:00PM EST prayer list, BTW.

I do not mind joining the prayer group as long as you make it secular. Isaiah 4029 already started posting some verses from the Holy Bible. Do you have real intention to pray or you have hidden agenda to spread your religion. Look at the bottom Goggle ads that are appearing.
I am not going to reveal my religion here so that people may interpret wrong opinion about this message. But I can say that I am a profound believer of God and I do believe in prayers. The only difference that I see is, there is only one GOD who is omnipresent and omnipotent, he is with form and without form and you can call him any name as long as you keep him in your heart. My good old Mother taught me this and she has a small prayer room in our house where one can find Bible, Koran, Gita, Guruganth and I grew up praying in that room.
When people forget God and try to preach their religion in the name of GOD, all the trouble begins. Medieval as well as modern history tell us that most of the wars riots, public massacres, terrorist attacks, genocides took place because of hidden of agenda of various religious groups.
In this forum all of us have common dreams, goals, and sufferings for this never ending GC processing saga. If you are sincere about this prayer, declare it that this prayer is for all people on this forum regardless of their religious believes and stop position messages from the Holy Bible. Otherwise people will follow your foot path and post messages from their own holy books and soon it will become a marketing campaign to establish whose religion is best and why.
Believe in GOD and pray and that should be the way of life but please do not try to give GOD a brand name.
Count me in as long as everybody believes in the above principle and Isaiah4029 particularly you declare this openly to all these wonderful people.
