If there is no change in approval trend - you can expect following approvals before end of fiscal 2008:
EB-1-India -> 63 (all sub category)
EB2-India -> 229
EB2-NIW -> 3
EB3-India -> 38
Till date approved during fiscal 2008:
EB-1-India -> 106 (all sub category)
EB2-India -> 382
EB2-NIW -> 3
EB3-India -> 64
*Other chargeability approved cases are removed.
Fiscal 2007 Total approvals==> 19957
I have estimated that for every approval on trackitt, there are 22.5 approvals by USCIS.

I've an indian colleague of mine who has PD of July 2003 around the same time as me. As per him, he is already pre-adjudicated and is on visa hold. Can you guesstimate when he could be approved? Thanks in advance.

If I am not wrong, USCIS published an estimate that approximately 2.25 visas are approved for each primary candidate, and based on the way the approvals are approaching to the end of fiscal year, my estimate is that one out of every ten applicant has registered on trackitt.
2.25 x 10 = 22.5.
[Based on this almost 12533 visas are already exhausted. Last year 19957 visas were approved in full fiscal year, and this 22.5 case per applicant is coming close to my estimate].

My PD is May 2003, and a very optimistic approach is leading me to expect my approval in July-Sep 2009 time frame. Your friend can expect the same. |

You are not going to get it in July-Sep 2008. Reason, the moment they push the dates forward - there will be many applications to process, and chances are you will be trailing. However, if USCIS does right, you can get in October-December 2008. |
As we approach the dates closer to our PD, you will see that notice date / receipt date will also matter. Your receipt date is end of July, which is going to push your approval further. I don't want to discourage you, but be prepared for Fiscal 2010. You must plan for renewing yours/dependend EAD AP.

My PD is Jan 2002 EB3-India! any idea when they will be processing Jan 2002!

According to am36...
EB3---->approved till now----->64 X 22.5 = 1440
Total EB3 expected for this Fiscal year---->64+38X22.5 = 2295
Remaining for 2008 fiscal year----->approx 855
Approx 300 cases r pending in trackitt to 2003(EB3)....that means 300X22.5 = 6750
according to am36 to go to 2003(EB3) we need atleast 2 1/2 yrs......if we get 2295 approval every year......
JOY JOY JOY....will be getting green card end of 2010........is this not a good news????......enjoy........enjoy...enjoy......enjoy.....what else you need?????

My PD is october 31, 2001.
RD/ND June 11/22 2007 or around there.
I'm wondering whether I'm going to get the GC in this year.
Seems improbable at the present rate of EB3 India approvals.
