Hi All,

My original birthcertificate is missing now, but I have copies which were faxed from India, and also photocpies of it and affidavits from parents. Will USCIS ask for original birth certificates any time ? Will it be an issue later?

I dont have original one. I filed with only affidavit. No problem. They did not ask for any details. best of luck

No. The copies and affidavits you submitted were more than enough to suffice the requirement. But, I would suggest to get an original for your file. You'll never know.
