USCIS just did ANOTHER Soft LUD today, 08/04/08. So they've been doing Soft LUD on 07/24, 07/30, 08/01, and 08/04. The only change to the status itself is on 08/01 where it said "Card Mailed".
I wonder why there are so many soft LUD.... Did the CIS Ombudsman call have any bearing on this? I hope so! Can't go wrong with about 10+ people complain in front of the CIS Ombudsman while USCIS listening in.... :)

How could? Your 485 was approved in March and you still have not received your card? Why didn't you call them? It's very unusual. Anybody else would have called to ask. Here you're the only one who has been waiting for your GC to arrive since March!!!?

Well, many people from TSC are in the same boat as me. We got multiple CPO, soft LUD, etc. but no card yet. We attempted multiple calls to USCIS, even INfoPass visit. There is a problem with TSC, as I mentioned with the CIS Ombudsman call (click on my name to see that particular post).
However, many of us received a "Card Mailed" notice last week, so hopefully we ALL will get the card THIS WEEK.

I got the card today too....from CPO on 7/29 and CARD Mailed on 8/1
I live in Dallas though (TSC is about 45 mins away from my home)...so if you live far away.....I believe it's coming to all of you~!!!!

TSC IO says she does not see my case approved yet in their system.
I got CPO e-mail twice on 8/1/08 ,LUDS on 8/3,8/4 and 8/5, with 8/4 hard LUD stating welcome notice to new PR sent as well as CRIS email for that.
I have FP scheduled earlier for my efiled EAD at ASC today.IO says go for the FP as I have not received any hard copy evidence in my hand that I am approved.

Lili I'm quite sure you will get your Card Mailed email soon. Actually there had been many cases where they received the card without CM email. So you wanna check your mail box more than your inbox :)...When I can get it you will get it too.

Any TSC 2002 priority date still waiting for GC?
I am May 2002 priority date
July 23 2007 receipt date on I485
and Spt 13 2007 notice date on I485
no RFEs yet, nothing happened since my I140 was approved in Feb 2008..
anybody else with similar experience. any guesses why this happening

Finally I got my card yesterday Aug. 5, 2008.....I waited a lot for this moment.
To recap my case:
I was approved on 3/10/08, after many calls and contacting congressman I received my first CPO email on 6/13/08, second one on 7/18/08 and the third one on 7/31/08. Card mailed e-mail on 8/04/08 saying that card was mailed on 8/02/08 and yesterday 8/05/08 I got the actual card.

Guys, I need some advice.
My husband and I were approved on July 1, 2008 and of course, we haven’t received the card.
We got the stamp (I-551) valid for one month. We both already traveled abroad. My husband actually traveled twice. Well, the stamp is going to expire on August 10th and my husband has a meeting in Europe next week. The infopass system is not working for the last 2 days and a half, so we haven’t been able to get an appointment.
I called the 1-800 number and as always did not help at all. Besides that, the system (over the phone) is saying that we were approved on august 1st instead of July 1st. The lady also said that the card was not mailed even though I got an e-mail on July 29th, saying “we mailed your new card”.
What should I do now?
What is this number 202-xxx-xxxx that people are talking about?
I appreciate your help.

That's USCIS number in Washington. My suggestion is give them a call as they are quite helpful for approved cases like ours.
You already got mailed your new card email on July 29th? I think you should get your card sometime this week, just my guess but as timing is important in your Hubby's case I think you should call them.

Quick update from me, I'm pretty much in the exact same situation as "khk2008", with an original approval notice date for my i-485 from TSC of 6/10/08, no CPO, and still awaiting for physical greencard. Called TSC using "POJ method" several times, and heard different things each time but basically there are problems with finding my biometrics (my case was transferred from WAC to TSC, so I'm guessing in the same boat as other TSC cases that were transferred and biometrics went missing). My lawyer visited the USCIS and discussed my case, and was told that they had my biometrics, they sent an email to IO at TSC to jump start my card production. Today I called the "202" customer assistance number referenced above, and they told me they would email TSC to inquire about the delay in my case. After doing that (because I want to be a pain in their ass) I just called the USCIS again but got through to the CSC because I think I used the wrong sequence, and they opened a case inquiry because I fall outside processing times. After that I called USCIS (again, because I want to be a BIG pain in their ass) and got through to a TSC IO who told me that my bios are still missing, but is going to forward to her supervisor so that they can contact WAC (California Service Center, where case was originally filed) to see if they can upload the BIOs again so that I don't have to go back to my local ASC for a new biometric appointment.
Arrgghh....

You are doing the right thing. Calling the 202 number is the trick. They take our calls seriously and do mean what they say.
Just be on it till you see update on your status. I was in the same situation but got outta it, phew!! Transfered cases get stuck, like ours, I hope they make their system more efficient by 2050 or 2049 :)

Hey texandude, thanks for the tip. I called them and a lady told me that my card was shipped on August 1st, 2008 and it should be on the mail. She told me to put our names on the mail box.
I have been living at the same apartment complex for the last 2 years, and we never ever had any problems with our mail but, it's better be safe than sorry.
I will do that today!

Great news. Received card today. No misprints or typos. Its been a long wait.. but its finally here. Hope everything settles for all of you too.

Same here. I also got a CPO email today. This one was not in response to any phone call from me, etc. Therefore, that seems to be a good omen. ( I was approved around May 5 - followed by biometrics around May 20 - followed by CPO around May 20 - but no card.. another CPO around July 25.. card mailed on aug 1.. card received on Aug 6)

ok a positive update.
My wife gave her biometrics today at the ASC. This evening we received the CPO email. Hopefully we will see the card soon.
A recap of our history:
5/22: Welcome notice email for both of us
5/22: CPO only fo rme
5/29: I received my card
5/30: Received the physical welcome notice for both of us.
My wife did not receive her card because they could not find her biometrics.
After a couple of visits to PASSNOINFO(er, Infopass), DHS7001, numerous calls to TSC and a call to 202 number, we got a new Biometrics notice for today. I honestly do not know what worked. It could have been the 202 number or the DHS7001. Who knows.
Anyway, looks like the end of the tunnel is visible for us and hopefully we will get her card in less than a week. Hopefully my next update will be the last.

So did your wife's case get approved AND THEN she was asked for biometrics?? My wife's case got approved about a week ago and then they sent a fingerprinting notice to the lawyer. No idea why at this point.

Yes. My wife was approved along with me on May 22nd. Both had filed 485 in June of last year and had given our biometrics originally in September of last year. So, the biometrics had not yet expired. But, in my wife's case, USCIS misplaced hr biometrics and could not find it to print her card. So, they sent her a second biometrics notice for yesterday. Within hours of her giving her biometrics we received CPO notice for her.
