I was excited when i saw the four envelopes from USCIS , i thought "cards are there
too" . The joke is that 3 of them turned out to be duplicate Welcome notices for my spouse !
I think TSC is really welcoming my spouse to USA as a permanent resident . You know
sometimes you repeat the same stuff 3 times it gets some 'power' .
Now, to look for the actual card.
Can i take the 'Welcome' notice to Infopass and get I-551 stamp, in case any urgent travel is
coming ?

Current Status: Card Mailed
On June 20, 2008, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

'm still waiting to see CPO email turn into Card Mailed, if they update that all the time for every case.

Anyone any updates on TSC? update on why there's a holdup in sending the freakin' card now. Any one called, specially the ones waiting for the card after 30 days.
When I call they come up with same BS that my case is not out of processing time, meaning not 30 days yet and I should call back when 30 days are over, which will be end of next week, June 30th 2008. CPO was May 31st 2008.

My wife called them earlier this week because she has only received the welcome notice so far while i have already received the card. My wife has not even received the CPO email so far. Both our approvals were on May 22nd. TSC IO said that an Officer is reviewing her case as they spoke and that she should get the card in 6 days. No LUDs since they spoke and no emails either. So, we continue to wait. If we do not see anything y next week we will try one of 2 things (maybe both):
1) Open an SR because it would have been past 30 days by then since the approval
2) File DHS 7001 with Ombudsman (I found this office to be responsive in the past. For an earlier application, they responded to be in 4 days! So, hope they will be responsive this time around as well)
Will keep every one posted on any further developments.

Thanks for the info. Once the 30 days are over I will go for an option. I have called once in a while since my CPO but talking to the agent is like is an automated service response. They are on purpose trained like that to safe guard their positions and not be certain about what they babble!! part of their training. Not sure why it's done like that. When one is calling, like us, our cases are filed and a fee is paid...they better provide us with accurate info.service. Trust me their work load will be less as we will not call if precise info. is provided. They really need some restructing of their process model...at least when people are concerend and enquiring about their cases. I believe a movie JackA$$ part 3 can be made on them... it'll be a BOX office hit!

lol... on a movie JackA$$ part 3...how about Mission Impossible with JackA$$e$ part 1...we all can pitch in to finance and sponsor. The good part is we will not need any actors we can get people from there...as such they don't have anything to do in 8 hour work day!...lights, camera, action!

Ok.
My wife called them again today as we have received no updates on her card. Well, the IO today told her that they do not see her biometrics on file. She told him it was done at the local ASC last september. The IO said that they are trying to retrieve it. He said if they cannot get it soon they may send her a finger print notice. He asked to wait 30-45 more days :(
So, we fired off an Ombudsman query today. Let us see if we have any further luck in getting to the bottom of this mess and actually manage to get my wife's physical card.

arihant, This SUX!!!. I'm seeing on this thread and others that TSC is sending cards. Not sure what's their deal is with this pulling FPs on the card. My 30 days gets over next week. Hopefully I will get it but who can tell.
When did your wife get your FP done? They might gimme the same BS if by next week I dont get the card.

FP was done on 9/7/07. So, it should still be valid. Hey! What can I say - USCIS loves us so much that they just do not want our journey to end yet!

Yeah!! on their Customer Service Line I believe they have puposely hired people who fail IQ test.
Their IQ test must be
1. to spell their name correctly
2. to tell where do they live.
If they fail to answer the above question they are hired!!
I did my FP on May 6th 2008.
Now they have again asked you to wait for 30-40 days!! damn!! dude I hope your wife is still cooking for you (jus' kiddin')

Less than a week from the time I found out I was approved to the day I got it in the mail. Maybe that was to apologize for all the years waiting on my I-485 and the 974 days above average it took them to approve it ;-)

I asked my attorney about this, she said "Some times USCIS sends all the three original copies to applicant". |

Yes, I think there is a way to track CARD PRODUCTION... it's called BS and more BS from customer service baboons!
Sorry dude not sure if there's a way. What I know I have mentioned above. Have not received the card till date waiting for 30 days to be over and if by then I have not received it I will go for Infopass!!.

Here is the update from my side. After I called NSC twice, yesterday and day before and was told that my CP was not ordered as they could not track my Biometrics. The IO put a note to the IT dept and today I received the much long awaited email for CPO. I hope I will have it in my hand by next week.
Mehere, Arihant and Texandude I would suggest you to try calling the service center and ask them for bio- linking as this seems to be the much common problem with late CPO these days. My wife also had the same thing, hopefully taken care of now as received CPO email for her too.
Actually I will have to give credit to the IO's too as I was able to relink my EB1 with 485 and now this just by talking over phone. USCIS do seem to have some good ones , though majority is bullshitters.

Well, some questions.
1. Did you randomly called and they connected to an IO? were your 30 days of suffering over and then they started doing something?
2. How did you by-pass the Customer Service BS firewall to talk to an IO?
3. Any option combination to reach an IO..... LIKE 1800 , 1 2 ...ETC ETC

My case was originally filed at TSC and then transferred and approved from NSC. So not sure whcih one the centers was the problem createor for bio-linking. Mine was approved on 11 june so 30 day period is nto over. I waited for 15 days and then called. Yes it was a random call using POJ method but got connected to nice guys on the other side after 5-10 minutes wait.

Thanks. Will try something similar today. The problem is when I ask customer service ppl..they say there's no problem with BIOs and I should wait 30 days... I don't believe those M F***ers at all as they are not clear in their response.

Same here: Just talked to somebody at TSC and she also created an IT request to locate my biometrics information. She apologized for the inconvenience, and told me to call back in two weeks if the online status does not change until then. It took me a number of calls until I got through to TSC, but once it worked, they picked up the phone after the first ring.
So, let's see how long it takes until they find my fingerprints - given my luck so far, I already anticipate that I'll have to do the fingerprinting again...

When I had called they say that there's nothing wrong with biometrics and they have them in the system correct so all I need to do is wait 30 days and If I dont receive my card I should calll back for a SR.
did you talk to an IO or a Customer Rep. looked at your status and told you that there were some biomettic issues.?

In one of your posts in this thread you mentioned that they did tell you about Biometric crap and they are gonna take car of it.
So that did not help? Sorry to hear about the delay. This is freakin' annoying now. Why can't they be clear about it. A fee is paid to those SOBs then why not tell us the real deal...sometime I feel I'm talking to all frauds there...

you cannot trust what the service people tell you because they have no more access to information about your case than you do online! When my wife called them yesterday to request a SR the rep told her that she should be getting her card in a week! LOL! We KNOW that he was just looking at her online case status and telling her BS based on that.
It is only TSC/NSC IO or the Infopass IO who has access to more details about our case. So, do not trust what the customer rep says. Try to POJ method to reach TSC to get a more reliable informaiton about your case.

The problem is I do not know how to by pass the Customer Service jokers and talk to an IO....if there's a way?
When I ask that I wanna talk to an IO they say then I have to get an Infopass appointment and go to the local office...
Not getting a chance to talk to an IO...
