My EAD and AP expire on Sep-30-08,but if i file for renewal and go to india for 4 weeks,is that would be a problem.
Please some one help me.

You mean file EAD / AP and travel to India on existing AP/H1/H4, which is not yet expired? If yes, based on forum information, I can say that you won't have any problem. However, why don't you do as below:
a. File only EAD. If you e-file, you will get finger printing appointment within a month, and after FP you go on vacation. If you and your spouse and dependents are not using EAD, and you have valid papers to work on H1, you can delay the EAD renewal. File it after returning from home. However, if you have plan to use it or if you are using it now - then file it immediately. At least you have to finish FP before you proceed on vacation.
b. It seems from your writing that you want to file your papers, and then go on vacation. If you are planning to go on vacation now, why you want to renew your AP now. Please note the fact that AP is different than EAD. There is no need to renew AP immediately after expiry. You can renew it, after you return back from home.

If you travel and come back before Sep 30, 2008 on your existing Advance Parole, there is no problem even if you have filed the renewal.
