Do we have any example here that infopass helped someone get his/her GC? Is it possible to take infopass to the center where your case is actually pending? for e.g NSC or TSC.

I think Infopass occurs only at ASCs. Generally this is a useless exercise, but you never know what info could come by.

Not sure if it was infopass but I took one last Friday to follow-up on my case since I had seen many approvals that were applied after my application. Lo & behold, I got the approval emails this morning for both of us.
Our cases were filed with TSC.

What reason you gave when you took your appointment? Can you please post your infopass experience on this forum like what documents u took with you ? What questions they asked you? Did you inquire about your background check ? If yes were you given any info? Thanks ur response will be highly appreciated.

I had my Info pass experience to check on pending I485 and it wasnt really helpful. I was told that my files were put on shelves on 5/15/08, waiting to be assigned to officer? When she said on shelves, I was like "oh no, I can see bookshelves filled with I485 applications and spiderwebs." She said she "think" that means name check was cleared on 5/15/08. Anybody know if what she said was true?

How do you guys take infopass appointment? When I try to set up one it gives me just one option that do you have any order from immigration court something like that .Is there a way to skip this message and setup an appointment just based on the fact that you need information on your pending application.

I went in for an Infopass last Thursday 26th June and it was a waste of time. IO gave me no information and just stated that the NC should not hold up a case being adjudicated now (NC now pending 2yrs 5 mths). He did give me an official inquiry form to complete and I may here something from that, but I am not holding my breath.

rfe140 you go to the uscis gov on the lower right hand side you should see a search box, below box is the appointment link. click on it, the link will open in new window, click on the language u want to use for infopass, enter your zip code. select option 1 you need service on case already filed, select case services option 3rd. the rest of the steps are self explanatory,
