Hi,
We have new born in our family recently.he is US citizen.
Do I have to inform USCIS about it?
PD - Apr 2001 EB3
I40-approved, 485 Pend
|
No.
1- USCIS really has no jurisdiction over US citizens in that manner, and more importantly,
2- The I-485 application must be complete and list all family members *as of the date it was signed*. Any future birth is not relevant and there is no requirement (or even a mechanism) that you report it.

I think you should report it to USCIS. Have the baby shower and send USCIS the invitation. This way you may get baby shower gift: not pink or blue, but green one.

No. You can directly apply for the baby's passport once u have the baby's birth certificate at urs nearby post office which accepts passport applications.

above... thanks...
I already got his us passport but just wondering about informing USCIS.
I applied for canadian immigration too and they require to provide family info as well and I added his name to that file.

Just wondering....where do you want to be PR? just keep in mind USCIS does not allow PR in another country....FYI
|
Well i dont think there are nay restriction of applying PR or having PR of another country....
I only appled Canadian PR and will hope to get it by end of this month...My US PD is EB3 APR 2001 and I hope I get GC before canadian PR...Else I will accept which ever comes first...
