Topic: NO LUD after Finger print
hi to all
My wife had fingure print last week 28 june. but no LUD on her I131 , I765 & I485 .
Any clue why no LUD
I appreciated for reply.

Normally all these forms suppose to be updated. Looks like no one updated the system, or the field office, where you gave the FP had networking problem. Wait for some time, say two week, and if you don't see any LUD, contact SC to find the update.
|
Thanks for reply
How i contact them on what basis ? What is SC
|
Look on this forum for the POJ method, and dial to SC. You may be prompted your case status, as it is there on the web. Just ignore that message, promting that you did not find the status. You will be able to reach up to customer service. It will be better if you can get an immigration office, however I hope that even customer service representative will be able to tell you whether they are getting indication that your FP was done.

Hello gurus,
My wife I-485 got soft UD on 7/22/2008 , but no LUD after fingure print. her fingure print was done on 6/28/2008
any idea whats going ?
I appreciated.
|
We fingerprinted on 6/28 and there were no LUDs at all until yesterday and today on our I-485s. Maybe they just updated our FP records on the system.
|
If they approved I-485 that will be Excellent news :)
|
It would be great but chances of I-485 getting approved looks very slim since I-140 is still pending and there are no LUDs on I-765 and I-131. :-)
|
well just checked there is lud on todays date, looks like they got the fp
|
USCIS can do what ever they want :-) one guy approved I-485 7/18/2008 even I140 was not approved.
|
I know this has been raised several times but I would really like to know what you think about my situation.
We did FP on May 20th and there was an LUD the day before (May 19th) However, everthing went quite and there was no LUD on any thing until 07/21. Can I assume that this was for the FP or should I call?
thanks

They seem to have fixed a technical issue.

possiblity of 140 case being adjudicated

It's amazing how so many of you get scared into believing anything.
Read this very carefully: A fingerprint done after submitting I-485 may cause an LUD on your I-485 within a couple of days up to a couple of months on your I-485. This FP will NOT - repeat NOT - cause an LUD for your I-765 or I-131 or I-140. It is for I-485 ONLY.
Remember - COLTS is bad for you.

Call FBI Fingerprint Line
You will need your A-number when calling the FBI at 304-625-5590.
A representative may be able to tell you when the fingerprint check result was sent back to the USCIS.
Since a fingerprint check is relatively straightforward and usually completed within 24 - 48 hours, calling them is only useful when you have reasons to believe that your FP result may have been lost.

KC what should be ask the person onthe other side of the phone

KC what should be ask the person onthe other side of the phone
They only ask you for your A# and give you the exact date when they sent back your FP to USCIS.
The lady who picked up the phone when I called, was very friendly and courteous. She explained that FBI can't disclose information regarding the results of name check or FP matches. However, she said FBI has to respond the applicant the date that the FP results were sent back to USCIS.
The point, she said, is:
If FBI didn't receive your FP you'll be able to know it and call ASC to find out what happened.
If FBI received and replied *usually it takes no more than 2 business days* and you didn't see any LUD you can call USCIS and provide the info received from FBI to find out if they didn't attach the reply to your case.
In a normal procedure, they receive FP, check for matches in their system and give info back to USCIS. Then, USCIS attach de info to your case and you're done (FP check is complete).
