I agree. BUT today EB3 statistics showing that by average they are taking 7 years....
suppose, iF we did get july,2007 bulletin, waht is going to be happen?
do you think they are going to take deacade for EB3?

I know there are some bills in senate like some immigration bills and "Visa recapture" and "eliminate per country limits" will significantly reduce waiting period for Country like India and China, If those bills are passed then your assmption of 5-7 yrs waiting may be correct. I personally feel these bills will not be passed easily and it will be unfair with ROW.
I am thinking of changing Job and switch to EB2 with 8 yrs experiance, in EB2 chances of getting GC is more because of spill over from EB1, as EB2 is consuming all spill overs nothing is going to come in EB3 I

for 2001 people it is taking 7 years means it is very clear there were many people before 2001. That is reason they are taking 7 years, right!
THat too, they effected with 2001 sept issue and uscis stopped to process applications at that time.

Answer to this question is same as answer of "retrogation", say today they are processing APR-22-2001 that means they have approved or rejected all filed cases earlier to this date, then how come next month instead of moving date forward it goes backwards |

This seems like business as usual at CIS. krustycat's case reads almost like a horror story. No EAD after more than 1 year - papers lost, chaos. Al, you should write to Cong/Senator and explain in great detail the workings of the nincompoops at CIS and then file a WoM.

Forget about 11$ man, Just got email from attorney regarding EAD renewal and AP for self, spouse and kid, he is quoting 3345$ and he thinks its up to USCIS if they wan't to approve 2 yr EAD :((
Attorney fee 5 applications at $300 each (Billed to Lawyer) $ 1500.00
Disbursement for 5 applications @ $50 per application (Billed to Lawyer) $ 250.00
EAD fees for 2 applications @ $340 per application (Checks supplied by you) $ 680.00
AP fees for 3 applications @ $305 per application (Checks supplied by you) $ 915.00
TOTAL $ 3 ,345.00 |

Al, this is really ridiculous wht they do there.. but if we give up we loose ..this is not even tht big of issue to give up IMO.. it is well know fact tht CIS cannt count fingers on one hand.. we cannt trust them to do everything right.. but I think ur IP place is no good.. many ppl do get lot of info from theres… was this same place as ur FP?
I think instead of going there keep sending them letters.. saying u have not updated the address ..at least u will have paper to prove:)

take it from me, this is best advise from a trackitt member to you: DO THEM YOURSELF.
you dont have to give out that money to freaking attorney. I was scared too but last week I did EAD and it was piece of cake. I also think that I wrote a better letter to explain them to correct a name error in past EAD too...my lawyer wanted money for everything..Just do it man, we are here....its so simple..
