I have different A#'s on I-485 and I-140 receipts. The I-485 receipt has the A# that is on my current EAD. The 140 receipt has A3 that was on my old EAD which I used when I was on OPT. Can you guys let me know if this is a problem? My concurrently filed I-140 was approved on 7/15/2008.
Thanks in advance for you all.

Anyone with the same situation????

I have the same.
From what I have read in the forums earlier, there are quite a few folks and its not an issue as long as the A# number on the I485 receipt, EAD and the AP are the same.

I am in the situation, what i have been told is not to worry about this as USCIS will relink your I-140 with the I-485 during the I-485 processing.
dont worry be happy, this is very common scenario when one files standalone I-140 and later files for I-485. USCIS assigns A# for I-140 and if that's pending while you apply I-485 it will create another A# for I-485.

Thanks all for the prompt replies. I am releived to hear it is not bad news.

A# on 140 based on OPT or H1B, A# on 485, EAD and AP based GC process. Once start using EAD or travel on AP means, you will be on A# on 485. If you are on OPT or H1B then you will be on A# of I-140.
That is how they keep track whether we are on H1B or EAD or AP. These A#s will deteremine your status.
