Folks,
I know that the answer to above question given current volume of applications with USCIS would be - A big NO.
The reason I posted is that since I am single,I want to delay my FP scheduled next week by about 2 months to buy some time.
I am not sure if I will get hitched soon,but say in 6 months,I do end up marrying someone(outside US),I want to make sure my 485 doesnt get approved before that,else I wont be able to bring spouse here in H4 and add her to my 485.
I know I cant delay FP appt indefinitely-but will just postpone it by 2 more months.
Other straight option is to just go ahead with my FP next week ,considering the fact that its going to take a long time for 485 to be approved.
What do you say?? If I go ahead with FP,does it sound possible that 485 might somehow get approved in 6 months from today-although its an impossible sounding thing as of now??

Dude-take a chill pill and dont get all worked up.
I am already seeing someone and might get hitched but not sure if I will get there.
Different people have different perspectives in life and one's view can differ from other.
For you-GC might be most important thing in life-not necessarily for all. One needs to balance his life keeping both professional and social aspects.
Its just an opinion I was asking about what do people think are chances of GC getting approved.
I have heard of many cases where GC got approved pretty soon,inspite of their PDs being fairly new.
USCIS doesnt exactly follow rules.
So,try to get the gist of the subject for the post before giving out your views. If you dont like the post,please ignore and move on.
