Topic: Any TSC 2002 priority date still waiting for GC?
I am May 2002 priority date
July 23 2007 receipt date on I485
and Spt 13 2007 notice date on I485
no RFEs yet, nothing happened since my I140 was approved in Feb 2008..
anybody else with similar experience. any guesses why this happening

Have any of you guys taken Infopass apt. and what was the expeirence?
Do you think we are waiting because our receipt date/notice date is out of the processing time frame at TSC ?

I took 2 infopass appointments already. Found out everything is cleared. The local office even opened SR for me. Its been 3 months since i opened SR. No progress so far.
Waiting for my RD to become current.

2 info pass. According to IO my name check and everything are clear 4-5 months back itself. Don't know why still pending.Service request created 4 months back.

I have heared some folks saying that NSC is going by Notice date.
Do you think TSC is following Receipt date or Notice date?

My PD is May 16, 2002 and RD is Aug 1, 2007. 140 cleared on Jan 29,2008. Currently pending at TSC.

Its really frustrating to see 2006 approvals while we old timers are waiting while our cases are rotting in USCIS.
How pathetic their service is. I don't understand why do they do this?

Sept 2002. Frustrated . It is becoming LIFO ( Last in first out ). What a clueless organizations USCIS is and absolutely there is no accountability.

I-140 received date: 7/13/2007 TSC. Still pending.
I-495 of course is pending as well.
I am paying for the lawyer for my extention of my H1-B every year. It's my 10th year now.
I am just speechness in this situation!

Yes mine is pending too almost 6 years
my PD is Sept 2002, and I am still waiting.
I-140 = filed 3rd July 2007 approval 28th Jan 2008
I-485 = filed 31st July 2007, still pending (FP notice just came in on the 11th of this month)
I am EB2 and from India, I am not sure what should i be doing. I see people getting GC who filed for labor in 2006, and I am still waiting, and I work for a fortune 10 telecom company. and I am going to complete my 10 years in Feb 2009, I will be starting my 11th year next feb.
Thanks to those smart people in USCIS.
This is what I intend to do " I will meeting Lou Dobb and would be hosting a 1:1 with him, and I would like to highlight the pain and suffering of the EB category folks, and I am going to make sure he does not ever bullsh** any more"

I am too waiting with PD Oct.2002 ....stuck in TSC.....India
First got stuck in Backlog elimination center for 4 and half years. Even though my casee was RIR!!!
Now stuck in USCIS...!!!
It is almost one and half year the file is pending at USCIS.
I485 RD March 2007
Couple of SR with typical resonse like "needs additional review" "extended review" etc.
Called many times TSC using POJ etc. and understood in last month that I am still stuck in name check.
They kept saying I need to have patience as the 180 day rule applies to my case.
IO mentioned that I should hear something before Nov.2008
Waiting for the magic email since allmost six years.
It is real frustrating!!!

I am also waiting with pd sept.2002. Many SRs, congressional enquiries, Ombudsman enquiries. All checks cleared as per USCIS letter. My case is classified as EB3 by mistake though my I-140 states EB2. Trying hard to correct this error. Really frustrated. Is this worth? Thanks to the super efficiency of this system.

lcdc did you tried something or just waiting for the magic to happen, comeon beef up start calling senators, congressman and tsc till they even touch your file. though no too much that they send your file to timbaktoo but do something man. people who posted their application yesterday are calling TSC today for the status of application and on the other hand you are hanging around doing yoga. please do something, your case is one of great grand pa example of the trackitt.

I took an infopass apointment at Houston..and they said that since it is a employment based GC they cannot do much or open a SR. I requested him many times but he kept avoiding it.
He also said my file is at the service center ...don't know if it means anything.
I asked him if it is stuck on anything he said 'no'.
...cam back frustated and irritated.

hi bhasbis . i also took an infopass in Houston - most useless bunch. opened a SR and got standatrd reply to wait for 60 days. I am seriously thinking of filing an action suit. Did you consult your lawyer regarding this idea?

These people must be bunch of Sadist and psycopaths to approve 2006 cases while ignoring oldest cases. Idiots and assholes.

Firs they got approved thru perm in 2 months
Second they got EAD in fiasco

absolutely. there are guys with 2006 pds's who have got GC within days of being current after Aug bulletin kicked in. It must be really heartbreaking for anyone with a PD of 2002 or 2001 to see that ...

My case went thru every shit hole for the past 7 years.
1st shit hole was in MD-DOL
2nd shit hole was in Phyly-DOL
then came to PBEC shit hole. Finally LC shit came out after 4.5 yrs.
Now in this NSC shit hole. I don't know when will they shit this out.

THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE HERE SUFFERING, WHY NOT YOU GUYS JOINTLY FILE WOM . IT IS EXPENSIVE BUT IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE THE COST CAN BE SHARED AND IF YOU ARE LUCKY THE COST MAY BE REIMBURSED BY THE ORDER OF COURT.

Hey guys,
First of all I pray for each one of you to get GC soon. You guys waited enough.
Does your cases has any complications like
1. batchlor degree + exp with same employer
2. Labor substitution
3. PERM conversion etc...
If you share this information then it would be easier to know how 2006 cases are being approved where as 2001 cases are pending with all PD RDND are current.
I don't know what else would be complications or even this list also migt be straight forward cases.
Don't mistake me. I just wanted to know why they are delaying your cases.
