Topic: Lou Dobbs talked about visa recapture bill in his show tonight--guess what? He is a moron.
Lou Dobbs talked about the visa recapture in his 7pm show in CNN. The other co-host Bill Tucker joined with him and both of them did spread a wrong message to this country.They think that the visa that we are going to get from the Bill H.R 5882 is going to be used to bring 'ANOTHER' 500,000 forign workers to this country".Idiots, they didnt know that the Bill H.R. 5882 is going to recapture the unused 'immigrant' visa and used for legal permanent residency. Above all, they didnt know that it was 'wasted' by the USCIS.

TUCKER: And there is not a single study documenting the fact that we need all of these guest worker visa programs. But what we do have is eight straight months of rising unemployment and we have, Lou, a Congress ready to add more visas into this mix. Zoe Lofgren yesterday introduced a bill into the House to do what they call recapture 550,000 visas at a time when the unemployment rate in this country is 6.1 percent. They want to add another half million foreign workers into this economy.
DOBBS: Let me be as clear and emphatic as I possibly can be. This is my opinion. Your Congress is lying to you about the reason for these Visas. Your Congress is acting in absolute disregard of the national interests and the interests of working men and women in this country, and I think every one of them should be held accountable because this is duplicitous. We had a president parading around this country for years saying we need a guest worker program when we knew at the time there were 10 of them and the subsequent years we have been reporting on this, the list is now, what, 23? Twenty-three and I'm not even sure that's complete. A week going back and forth with the State Department who says Lou - the State Department says we don't know.

I always switch channel after the Situation Room. Since last time this LOU DOBSS, talk about some immigration issues in his own way, without really into the details but just to churn out the viewing rating. Most of his point of views makes sense but not those protectionism. I believe, there was a episode, where there is a white guy that know so much about the immigration rules took on him, shut him off, as he didn't have any points to counter the person's points. Shame on Lou Dobbs, he keep doing this just fort he viewing rating. WHAT NOW, he has "INDEPENDENT CONVENTION???" shut f** up! for something you don't really know. Don't pretend you know everything.

Lou Dobbs is a racist pig... when he dies and is before the gates of heaven, hopefully they'll deny his visa and send him to a purgatory full of the people that he has called illegal... everyone speaking spanish, hindi, punjabi, mandarin, etc., may be then he will learn that we are as human as he is...

He comfortably forgets that he and his ancestors are not Native Indian. One of his ancestor should have come to this counry either legally or a prisoner from somewhere else. The word "Underpay" is relative dude. You can't expect a person who is having 2 yrs of experience in the field, to get 120K. Another reason for the underpay is the 'multi level' consultancy. If you are not working for a prefered vendor, then the intermediate level companies get some share from the hourly rate. The client might pay $70-80 per hour, but the employer might get $40-60 and give you $25 - 35. The point is, the client pays $70 - 80 per hour, which is , for the heaven sake, not a cheaper one.

If it takes 100K for an ameri to do the job, and if the same can be done for 50K by an 2 years experience guy..why not take him??
Just because you are PhD and shared the same cup with Einstien, doesnt mean they shud hire you to develop a simple website paying you 100K...

H1-B Visa benefs are not cheap labor, they have to be equal or above prevailing wages... Nowabout we are in a global economy, the time when any average american Joe had a quality of life superior than in any other industrialized nation without working his butt off is gone. Much less now when the country owes trillions in debt, it maintains budget deficits, funds revenge wars and the median population is provided with lackluster education... I mean, three quarters of americans think they know geography and geopolitics just by watching hollywood movies... for just how long did they think this would last? Shipping away jobs, to cheap labor to pay cheap prices for them locally without enthusing people to engage into careers with more added value globally... Sorry, no more free ticket.

Lou Dobbs is one of the pathetic journalists I have ever known. The way he tries to present certain 'facts' , the way he struggles to form words / sentences and often shaking his head in 'disbelief', acting as though he is born to change Washington... JUST AWFUL! He is one of those who would make up anything to criticize anything....
He has done this on a variety of topics from drugs in schools to illegal immigrants to H1B to ... what not.
What is surprising me is the fact that a major TV network like CNN is providing him a platform!

If this guy ever gets sick or old and ends up in a hospital or a nursing home he should stick to his "principles" and refuse to be treated or cared for by immigrants.
