muisui can you tell when was your case transferred to NBC? My dependent's case was also transferred to NBC on 9/22/08 but did not get any hard LUD yet.
I think they send interview notices according to the processing dates of your service center. If you PD and RD are both current, you may get interview appointment within 2-3 weeks.

mine went to NBC 1st week of Aug. Yes both RD and PD are current.

EB3 had be unavailable since July 08. Yes, both of us will be current starting Oct. 1. Hopefully you will get interview letter soon. All the best.

I read the transfer to National Benefits Center thread which is more than 50 pages and I discovered that all cases which were transferred to National Benefits Center received status update says "The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS that was transferred to our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location is now pending there. "
maximum 10 days after getting the initial transfer notice...
My case was transferred to National Benefits Center about 5 weeks ago and until today I have not received the above status change...it still says"case is sent to NBC because it has jurisdiction over the case"is that normal or the file could be lost somewhere?
Do you think I should contact USCIS or I should wait a little bit?

How do you know your case is transferred to NBC. The message you listed below dosen't say that. Even my case says the same thing on line since Jan 08. I check 15 days back it is still with TSC.

I got a soft LUD and follow by a letter from CIS about the transfer to NBC. Then a hard LUD to confirm it, then a hard LUD as above.

i had same hard LUD,,,but i my case was transfered from california to nebrasca, on sep 7 07...
is this mean my case trasfered to NBC again? from NSC?

I don't think thats the case, unless you have a physical letter from uscis or the status says that explicitely. My case status says case pending in an office to which it was transferred. But actually it is still in TSC. My case was mailed to NSC, then uscis sent it to VSC (for receipt generation) then it was transferred to TSC.

where do you see NBC in the above message? It doesn't say anywhere. I think it is just a intra-service center transfer.

I too got it around on June,2008. I got trans. from Texas to Nebraska. I got a notice too from USIS which tells that it is transfered inorder to speedup the processes! After that I got 2 soft lud... Then the status is received and pending...No interviews!

to get an interview for transferred cases, the file has to be physically mailed to nearest ASC where the candidate is living. Just it is transfered from SVC to another SVC doesnt mean that you will get an interview. But expect very ..long...........WAIT.

after transferring cases to NBC and then later getting update says" This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred". Does that mean that the file is physically now at the local office and waiting to find an interview slot or it is still at NBC..?

I received a soft LUD today 10/1.

I got a hard LUD on 9/22 saying that the case is transferred to NBC followed by a soft LUD on 9/23. I got physical letter about the transfer on 10/29. I had two soft LUDs after that on 10/02 abd 10/03. Any idea as to when will I get the interview letter?

I got a soft LUD on 10/07. Earlier LUDs during tranfer to NBC were 9/22. 9/23, 10/02 and 10/03. The case was transferred on 9/22 and had the second hard LUD saying that the case is now pending at the office it was transferred. PD is current.

my case was transfered from texas to NBC october 12 2007 , I have not received the interview letter as of today and the online crap never changed. I'm EB3 PD 2001. had several service request with no luck!

where does it says it is transfer to NBC?
i had the same message on Feb 03 2008 till date nothing
and also many of my friends had the same message who filed in vermont and later transfered to texas

I think this is the standard message you get when they transfer the case between service centers or to the local office. tsodi2009 got this message since his case was transferred to TSC not the NBC, I guess. If it was NBC, he could have got some action by now. That's my two cents.

how do u know it is transfered to NBC?
My 485 application( my self and 3 dependants ) was filed in vermont in july 2007 we got this Hard LUD on jan 10th 2008 with the same above message for 4 applications and later my kids had FP on 5th Feb 2008 after FP The message for kids application has changed to

Search the forum, there is more than enough discussion. I got a letter of interview about a week ago and I suppose you may be subject to interview too. Just FYI, there is a tracker here for interview and go there to see the other people's comments/experience. Very helpful. I will have mine 12/1, so i keep you guys posted. |
