4/25 -- finally got the physical card
And the card is not in pink color, it is more of a cream color on the front, also the picture shows the whole face of mine, not side ways; on the back, there is a big mirror shinning optical memory (which could store up to almost 3MB of data) could be used as a mirror, there you could also find at last some green, all the fonts are in green color on the back. I guess in order to protect the shiny stripe, the CIS also provided a same size paper envelope to store the card...very cool
at the top of the stripe, you will be able to find all the US presidents, on the bottom right corner, it says

I think the card was produced by the optical memory card manufacturer named LaserCard in MountainView, CA.

Cool! Did you see the torch of the Statue of Liberty beaming some kind of light? Hehe.. Can't take my eyes of my gc after receiving it..

RF, me thinks he/she is deliberately being obtuse…English is not the first languague for many of us!! But he/she wants attttttttttttttention!! So they are writing in tht manner !! I am dyslexic ... but come on!! i too don’t mix things up soooo bad!

Friends,
After getting the GC we are planning to do a trip to India and I will comeback in 2-3 weeks time and my wife may stay there for 1 more month. Is it OK to stay like 45-60 days and comeback, or would they ask any explanation for this stay at the port of entry. Is there any legally allotted timeframe for GC holders to stay outside US.? Please advice.

You can stay outside for less than 180 days without any issue. If you want to stay outside for more than a year or so than you have to apply for permission before you leave. in your case the number of days is less than 180 you are Ok
