I-140 Already Approved MAY 2006
EB3, ROW (NEPAL)
FP DONE NOV 6 WITH TWO LUDs
WHAT DOES THE CURRENT LUD ON 485 INDICATE?

i have a soft LUD, too, at the same date, 12/18. 1-140 is still pending but fingerprinting was done last 11/20.

Seems like both of us are of same catagory....My PD is Nov 05 EB3 (Nepal) and ,I-140 was approved on Aug 06. Gave my FP on Oct 18 but haven't had any LUD's since the receipt Notice date.
Haven't seen any EB3s approved for Nepal yet. I hope we'll be approved by the end of FEB.
Don't know what does LUD on you 485 is for,may be you case is assigned to IO or sth...not sure

i got soft luds on 485 ..12/18, 12/19..makes no sense for an EB2 indian with PD in 2005 and 140 pending..

A lot of EB3's are getting LUDs in the past few days. Hopefully, it means they have decided to look at EB3 applications. Hopefully, there will be good news for us soon.

My fingerprinting was done on 12/7/07. I got LUDs on 12/8, 12/15 and 12/18 for my I-485. My I-140 (EB-2 NIW) is pending for a year and there have been no LUD since the account was created on 01/02/07.

I check my case again just a few minutes ago and I have another soft LUD today, 12/19. I really don't know what these two days soft LUDs mean.

Got soft LUDs on my 485s(EB2, NSC) on 12/14, 12/15, 12/18 and today 12/19 only on my case. 140 already approved and PD April'2007.

If you change the password on the portfolio account, does that change the soft LUD? Please advise.

Password change does not generate any LUDs. LUDs are generated only after someone updates your file on the USCIS computer.

Thanks for the response. Since I-140 is already approved in 2006 and then sent to State Department for visa number assigment, we should see some kind of action on our case. We hope to hear something good in next few days/weeks/months not years. Keep me posted please.

Eb2 indian , PD in 2005 ... no way....i am surely not expecting a GC , but these soft LUDs today and yesterday are funny...

I am not counting on anything happening any time soon since there are lots of ROW EB3s from 2001 - 2003. I hope when things starts getting crazy towards the end of fiscal Q3, then we might have a chance.
I have not had any LUDs on my case since the FP except for the address change.
