ARE THERE EAD APPROVALS FROM NEBRASKA IN JUNE/JULY? PLEASE GIVE DETAILS

Yes. Me & my wife got EAD cards from Nebraska service center on June 15th. We had applied on March 26th. 485 approval is still pending.

I applied on April 13, 2007. It got approve on 9th July 2007 and receive the card on July 13 2007.

Both of us (me and wife) got approved on 7/11/07 (CRIS email) still waiting for original.

Seems like most people have been getting their EAD's about 3 months after filing.
Wondering what the time frame will be for June/July filers will be....
3 mths, 6 months, years...?

You should be able to find that out quite easily by filtering the list by selecting NEBRASKA and then sort descending on the EAD approval date column (or AP approval column if you are interested in finding about AP). I did some research on the data entered in trackitt and found that the average wait time from Receipt Date to EAD/AP approval was somewhere between 80 and 90. Of course, this statistics is only as good as the data entered. --QSS

Sometimes but only sometimes we do see these surprises. My husband's EAD (OPT) was stuck for 4 and a half years and then the time came and we applied for this one with doubts and it came through in a month.

It's nice to see all things approved and hurdles cleared for you. Since you are from France I have some specific questions that you might be able to help me with. Actually my fiance is in France and is a EU citizen. I (Indian citizen) have my 140 approved and 485 pending.
1) can you tell us if its better for us to get married in France or in US (from immigration prespective).
2)How can I get her the H4 status if we get married in France /or/ US and actually is it really something we need at all?
3)After marriage; is it necessary for her to stay in US while her 485 is filed and pending as a derivative of my pending 485.
I'm just hoping that you might know someone or you yourself must have been part of similar circumstances and I might get some benifit of your experience and advise.
