Mumbai site is Bogus or what ? The link here takes to the old VB on DHS That means DHS has not updated. then how did the Mumbai consulate provide the hyperlink?

I am not convinced as this does not talk of EB2.. employment.!

Mumbai consulate already got advance information for those doing Consular Processing (CP).

Mumbai does counseler processing for Indians, they might have got the dates earlier.
The dates seem to be correct.
EB2 - December 2003 as predicted.
EB3 - October 2001 - means USCIS could not process/dint have August2001 PD applications so was advanced.

It could be legit, but the fact that other indian consulates are not showing it and the VB here is not out yet... i would just not be convinced until i see the real deal. anyway if this is on in mumbai the real one should be out later today

Moving for India was an old news that was published when AILA had their CA meeting on Feb 15, 2008. And it also said that the Dec 1, 2003 dates will remain till end of the year 2008. Hope it stays like this or move forward , backward movement not acceptable

Its out in chennai consulate(India) too, although not as a visa bulletin. check the interview schedule for april 2008, in chennai, its full of Eb2, search for E2(i.e eb2). If it would've been Unavailable for EB2 like previous visa bulletins, then there would be no interview dates for EB2. So for sure the dates have moved forward. Consulates gets the VB earlier. I am CP candidate, been thru the processor over 5 yrs, so know CP process as well as AOS process thoroughly and the VB dates for both AOS and CP are the same, and is generated by DOS.

So long as it doesn't move to July 2nd. For the rest of my life I will always despise that date (I was utterly despondent on that date last year, as I am sure most of you were).

One way to hack the WB is to go the site and just change the bulletin number on the address. Sometimes they have it on their site but they have not put a link for it as the current one.

Does anyone know what does this mean, from VB:

"...provides that once the Employment Third Preference Other Worker (EW) cut-off date has reached the priority date of the latest EW petition approved prior to November 19, 1997, the 10,000 EW numbers available for a fiscal year are to be reduced by up to 5,000 annually beginning in the following fiscal year. This reduction is to be made for as long as necessary to offset adjustments under the NACARA program. Since the EW cut-off date reached November 19, 1997 during Fiscal Year 2001, the reduction in the EW annual limit to 5,000 began in Fiscal Year 2002."
