I used AP to enter U.S and now i was renewing my EAD so what should i write in the Q#14 "manner of last entry"
Thanking you.

Then you entered as a "Parolee" (term used for a person that uses his/her AP) pending permanent residence.
The EAD does not give you any immigration status. It just allows you to work.
Any person that has filed for adjustment of status (I-485) and is waiting for a decision is a "Pending Permanent Resident Applicant". And this is a legal immigration status.

Thanks. Can i write "Advance Parole" as manner of last entry??

I am filing paper-based application.
|
Are you doing e-file or paper? I e-filed mine and I believe it has a drop down menu where you select.
|
You might want to check in the e-file application the options available. I do not want to give incorrect info since you are doing paper.
My situation was different since my last entry was using H1B.

Any paper-based filers who can answer question#14 "manner of last entry". I used AP to enter U.S and currently working on EAD.
|
any inputs please i have to send my renewal by tomorrow.
|
I entered Adjustment of Status (pending). Some users on trackitt said they did the same and it was accepted. I just sent the I-765 form and will wait to see if it will be accepted.

Hi,
You can write on:
Q14= Advance parole or AP and you will be fine.

guys: What if you never used AP and did not travel?
|
Hi,
Q14= last entry. If your last entry was in 1900, 2001, 2002, 2003 ect, you must use something to get in (H1B, AP, etc). So, you should write on Q14 when, where and what was your status to get in.

You must have entered the USA at least one time, your very first arrival! Otherwise, you were born here!
|
Thanks canusamex. I did enter with OPT and never filed H1B stamp. Neither traveled I with AP and actually did not go home hoping that the labor would be approved in 18 months instead of 4 years. This is what I meant.
