Topic: wife is sponsoring me
My wife is canadian citizen.I am in USA workign.both of us live in USA. which application should I use? If she uses that she lives in canada(her parents live there) and I live in USA then she needs to provide what docs to be as a sponsor?
OR, if she appplies as both of us live in US and intend to live in canada when I get my PR?
File an outland application through Buffalo. Outland is way faster than in-land. My Buffalo application was approved in 3 months and my sponsor lives with me in the US. In order for my spouse to be approved as a sponsor she had to prove her intention to return to Canada after my PR was approved and issued. Her proof of Intention to Return was a job offer. You can also prove your intention to return by a rental agreement, property etc. If you have none of the above, write a letter explaining what you will do to relocate, what actions you have been taking to find a job, housing etc. Include a letter from her family in Canada that they will offer you housing etc until you have your own place, job etc. I know people who have done that and it worked. Again, if you live in US file out-land or you may have to wait for up to 12-16 months! Good luck!

Do I need to send the Option C for her? as she does not work...
My sponsor didn't as she did not work in Canada at the time. However, she did write a letter explaining why Option C was not included in the app.
But, in the form it says, you have to include OPtion C even though you didnot work.I just had them mail me a copy of option C that my wife filed taxed previous couple years. any suggestions?

Me and my husband live in USA. I want to sponsor my husband in the
family class for immigration to Canada.
He did the medical exam and sent the receipt in Buffalo,NY. Now I want
to send all the sponsorship and sponsored application in Buffalo,NY.
Should I send the Application fees to Buffalo,NY? or the application
fees need to be send to Missisauga as per CIC? meaning fees will be separately sent to Missisauga and all other docs in Buffalo? or all in Buffalo?
You send the Sponsorship application and your husbands PR application to Mississauga - not Buffalo. You pay all fees to Mississauga. Once the sponsorship application is approved, Mississauga will forward your husband's PR application to Buffalo, NY. Buffalo will send you the AOR confirming they have it. Any additional documents (if requested) will be sent directly to Buffalo.
but in your previous post you told me to send the docs to buffalo? is that right? or I understood it wrong?
Sorry, but you misunderstood me. Read the instructions in the application guide and it will tell you what to do. Although you file through Buffalo (or any other CIC office), you still send the application to CIC Mississauga. Mississauga will review the application to make sure that all supporting documents, such as Medical, police records etc are included. If everything is in order, CIC Mississauga will forward the application to the processing office (in your case Buffalo). You never send the application for Family Class directly to the Buffalo office. Make sure you don't send the original Medical recepit separate. It must be included with the application (to Mississauga). If the Medical is not included your application is consider incomplete and will be returned. All this is stated in the instructions. Read them, and read them again. The guide will tell you how to file your application. A slight error, or a missing document, will delay your application with several months.

my medical will expire end of this month(He did it almost 12 months ago). still I am sending my docs..will they tell me to do th emedical later on again?
Yes, you need to redo the Mecial exam. The medical must have been done within the last 6 months from the date you apply, but also, you PR visa is only valid 12 month from when you did the medical. Be pro-active and redo the medical as CIC will ask you for it.
should I go ahead and apply now with the almost expiring medical and later redo it and send it?
as my police verification and others are also close to expire in 1 month?
Read the instructions! It is pretty straigh forward. If you send in the application expired, or soon to expire documentation, your application will be returned to you. You will only add months (many months) to your processing time. Save yourself some time, redo Medical and Police records and send in the application.

Even though my husband work, I dont..He does not need to be my co-signer? am I right? for family class, I dont think I need a co-signer?pls correct me
You are correct. Your husband can not be your co-signer. To sponsor your spouse you don't need a co-signer
since I dont work but my husband does, does eh have to include his bank statement or related docs for financial solvency?
No. Seriously, you need to read the instructions! It is very clear what supporting documents you need to provide CIC. Just follow the document guide.
what about the police report from the city whey are are in and from BD? its valid till sept this year.will they ask for another report as its close to finish 12 months?
