Hi, I was hoping someone could help me. I am currently in lebanon and my wife is sponsoring me. I had my interview last month and the Visa officer had told me i was approved and that they would call me when my visa was ready. A week after this i got a letter saying they wanted 2 more documents. I mailed this to Syria and they would have got it this week. I am wondering now how long the process will take now and what i will have to do next. My wife has now travelled here to bring me to Canada so we were wondering how long it could take from this step.. Thank you very much...Rami

My wife ponsorship application and my permanent residence application is at a local office.
The loca office wrote me and told me my permanent residence application will take 18 months to be reviewed.
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE FOR THEM TO REVIEW THE SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION?
IS IT GOING TO TAKE THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME AS MY PERMANENT RESIDNCE APPLICATION?
